BAD MEETS EVIL FOR GOOD: Bad Meets Evil’s Hell: The Sequel, the Shady/Interscope collaboration between Eminem and old Detroit pal Royce Da 5’ 9”, could challenge Jackie Evancho’s Columbia album, Dream With Me, for the top spot on the chart a week from tomorrow. Both albums hit the street tomorrow. The first single, “Lighters,” featuring Bruno Mars, is already being dubbed the “Love the Way You Lie” of the summer. (6/13p)

Oh, man. I didn't even realize that Evancho released her album this week. People ate her last album up, so maybe BME won't get that #1 spot. I'm guessing they'll sell 200k, but I could see her doing something like 300k.

Then again, I just looked up her last album's stats...it was a Christmas album released during the holiday season. I see BME getting it this week.

Jackie performed on The Today Show yesterday (and supposedly will be on again Friday?) She also was on The View today and will be on FOX & Friends tomorrow.

Owl City released his new album this week too. I hope that he can make at least 50K.

Dream with Me debuted at no. 4 in the UK after only one big promo appearance I think.
250k should be possible for Jackie E.

Let's go Eminem & Royce! Don't think you will see them on the View performing though. haha.
Also Hits is wrong. Lighters was not the first single!

I'd be surprised if Born This Way stayed above 100K for next week's chart. The percentage drop should be lower than this week's chart- but even a 10% drop would out it under 100K. Adele, well, we expect her to remain above 100K, don't we. :)

Jackie Evancho would definitely be the youngest person to score a #1 album, right? Even younger than Stevie Wonder or Donny Osmond, I presume.

^With O Holy Night, she was the youngest act to ever land a top 10 album. Stevie Wonder was 13 when he released his first U.S. No. 1 album. LeAnn Rimes was 14 1/2 or so when Unchained Melody hit No. 1- not sure if that's the record, off-hand, though.

The kids in each of the respective groups could probably qualify there too, along with the Jackson 5.

^Jackson 5 never had a No. 1 album on the BB 200.
Doesn't look like the Cowsills , Osmonds or Partridge Family did, either.

^Justin Bieber is the youngest male act to hit No. 1 (at 16 years old) since Stevie Wonder did so in the 60s- Stevie was 13.
And, as mentioned, LeAnn Rimes was 14 1/2 when she landed her first No. 1 album.

OK that's right- Then Stevie Wonder would be the youngest period then
That Stevie Wonder album is actually the first #1 album period on the modern day album charts
Prior to this, there were separate mono and stereo charts

Bad Meets Evil should hopefully do 250k! =) If more people knew it was Eminem, it would be selling more. I was talking to a friend today, and she is a huge Eminem fan but doesn't know he had this album out today.

It's #1 on iTunes and Amazon. At Best Buy today they said it was flying out of the store. I live in Michigan though so who knows. I have no idea what to expect honestly. I thought 150-200K for BME.

they really shouldn't have gone with "bad meets evil" as the group name. "eminem and royce the 5'9"" would certainly have drawn in more fans. or even "eminem and royce the 5'9'' present:".

Jackie's album is also prominently featured in several of the Sunday circulars (Target specifically had a larger one than usual).
I think it could really go either way. I don't see Jackie having Susan Boyle type numbers yet, but I do see her having longevity. Wishing her all the best. :)
