How many 100k weeks is that for Adele now... 11 weeks so far, 12 Weeks on the way... GODele! :'( :'( owning the entire world! & i love Owl City's album, hope it does a little better than predicted.. & gaga how much did she sell b/c of the Amazon deal again? not sure if it was 400k or 600k but she's declining kinda rapidly so its a really good thing she had that boost even despite how badly it screwed her label

The Amazon mp3 figure was around 443K (of the 662K digital total for that week).

Do we have any major releases this Tuesday? Or will it be Adele going for her 11th week? If it's the latter I hope she has yet another six-figure week.

Your assuming BME or Jackie don't have longevity.

I doubt it Jackie or Eminem will be a threat. Assuming they're competing against Adele with over 100k again, (going off their HITS projections) they'd have to see a roughly 38% and 32% drop respectively to stay about the 100k mark. It's obviously been done before but it seems very unlikely in June especially nowadays with standard 65-70% second week drops.

Adele (19 and 21), Lady GaGa, Nicki Minaj and Eminem are all sale-priced $9.99 at Best Buy this coming week.

I'm thinking the most Pitbull can hope for is 50k and even that is optimistic. I also just saw that Bon Iver will have an album out Tuesday. I definitely will be buying it, although I'm not sure if it can trouble the top ten.

Bon Iver will def. go top 5 as it's the most anticipated indie release of the summer.

He'll need to do 50,000 to get that. Top 5 isn't for sure

^Nope. Adele, while wonderful, has spent an astounding amount of time at number 1, and has a strong chance at returning next week. Give it to someone else for once. :)

If anybody is gonna be monopolizing the charts, I'm glad it's Adele. May her reign continue!

I don't mind the same album spending so much time at #1, but when it comes to the Hot 100, I prefer a better turnover.

He'll need to do 50,000 to get that. Top 5 isn't for sure I wouldn't be so quick to discount Bon Iver...the "Blood Bank" EP entered at no. 16 with 23,000 sold in 2009. If Justin Vernon could shift 23,000 copies of an EP (while the "For Emma, Foreve Ago" album was still building its audience) then I don't think 50,000 for the new album is totally unrealistic. Despite Pitbull's hit singles, Bon Iver probably has more album momentum going than Armando.

I'll die if Eminem gets blocked by a prepubescent opera singer.

Bon iver is probably gonna sell more like 75-85k. his fan base has swelled since the last album and he should see an opening in line with Fleet Foxes. I wouldnt be suprised if it sells more

I'd say they're up there with The Decemberists in terms of sales.
Anyway about this week.. It's interesting to see if we can rewrite the history.. J. Evancho would be the youngest solo act to top the album chart.
