As much as I want Jackie to be #1, the youngest ever to have the #1. I think it will be #1 BME and #2 Jackie with about 13k difference.

So I guess Soundscan could make a difference but I think BME is set at #1.
ADELE. Jesus.
Not too bad for Gaga. Perhaps she could get 55k next week.

Looks like the Thursday prediction for Gaga was spot on. Anyways, I hope she stabilizes around the 30 to 40k mark in the coming weeks.

Hmm, I also notice that although the top portion of the chart had higher numbers in 2010, the numbers are a lot higher on the lower portions of the chart compared to the same week of last year. Looks like we may still have an increase this week?

nice increases for a lot of country artists this week, as well as Foo Fighters and Mumford & Sons.
As for Adele, I don't even think it's necessary to comment anymore. This is just a smash.

Gaga still falling like a brick, eh? At this rate, I don't think she will stabilize until she's below 20K.

Maybe SoundScan will collect some Christian-stores info that HITS didn't get, and Jackie E's album will be No. 1. (probably not) Damn at the Energizer Bunny of greatest hits albums, Legend.

Theres no way Gaga will sell 2.5 mill by year end... She needed a 66k average after her debut but she's about to go below that after only 3 weeks

Some great sales increases this week, I wonder if we will still be up year-to-year considering outside the top ten these sales trump last year's easily

Wow, Journey, Frank Sinatra, Bob Marley and Foo Fighters returning to top 50 with the iTunes price discount. NICE! And congrats to Eminem for another number one.

Awww. P!nk fell out of the top 50. Oh well, it was a great run in the Top 40. :) Adele is slaying! How much have HITS & Soundscan been different by before? Not that I don't want BME to take it, but could it still change? Probably not, but it was close. I'm sure Jackie will fall down faster though. But she should be on AGT at some point this year. She's a bigger seller than the last idol winner (Lee).

W :ow @:
1. ADELE's 100k + consistency for so many weeks running. Well deserved ! 2. Jason Aldean's consistency for still being in the top 10, even though his album is ~ 30 weeks old and is still selling 50% more than Brad Paisley's 3 week old record 3. Lady Gaga's continued free fall

Gaga should pass 1.5 million sold next week. That is amazing and since 1.5 million in sales is a huge, massive, biggest star ever smash hit she has it made even if she does stop selling now!

What are the total sales for 21 (including this week)? Is it over 2 Million yet?

She passed the 2 million mark a couple of weeks ago. She should be closer to 2.3 million now.

Owl City is such a one hit wonder.... I mean, Fireflies and his first (mainstream) album were such hits (he sold close to 1million copies from that album).
And to fall from that to ^ this. No single has even debuted at the Hot100 and this album will sell like only 150-200k.

GaGa is not free falling lol she sold almost 70k this week.
She'll do 50k+ this week. She will have sold another 250-300k of the album by the end of July. She should be right around 2 million sold by july 31.

Fantastic!
Legend is legendary! Have other BM albums charted recently? Legend clearly is THE album by him... The same with CCR
BTW's chart run 1-1-2 and now 4 with two relatively big new entries above it so yea such a freefall..
