Look like, at radio, that "California King Bed" is the "Man Down" between the two latest RiRi singles.
RITD still registering gains. Will it have enough to pull off an 8th week at the top?

I actually just "cooked" it up. LFN's sprint to the airplay top 10 is rather unheard of for a fifth single in recent years, ain't it? Wonder if it will have the overall momentum to become the fifth chart-topper from her album.

^Honestly I think LFN eventually hitting #1 is practically a foregone conclusion at this point. I'm starting to wonder now if there's a sixth single in the works? My vote is for Circle the Drain.
I'd love it if Adele squeaked out another week at #1.
Also I'm impressed that Moves Like Jagger ended up maintaining #1 so long at iTunes -- I thought it would be one of those #1 for a day or two then quickly out of the top ten songs.

Based on the PRA's positions on itune and its airplay, it is likely that PRA would block LFN to get No.1 for few weeks. If that were the case, then the longevity of chart run would determine whether LFN can reach No.1.

I think releasing some quality remixes in a few weeks should do the trick. Also consider that every Katy song this era save one has gone over 4 million (and TD isn't far behind) in digital sales. Some people clearly just aren't going to buy the album, but apparently will buy whatever hot single Katy has out. So TGIF, having not even sold a million, has a lot of potential buyers out there for weeks to come.

IF there is a 6th single id want either The one that got away or peacock. But i kinda want the era to be over after LFN

Hot 100 prediction based on my sales estimates + airplay trend 1. Give Me Everything (192 + 142* = 334) congrats to him...sneak one in before PRA 3. Party Rock Anthem (214 + 101* = 315) 4. Last Friday Night (225 + 63 = 288) Will have to wait for more airplay...who knows...what is PRA block her. 5. Super Bass (166 + 81 = 247) :o 20. Till The World Ends (64 + 59 = 123) 23. Motivation (49 + 59 = 108) --Hope she can pull a top 20 song. *BDS estimate.

Wow, if Katy gets this fifth number one and say a re-release of Teenage Dream comes to fruition, she may rival Whitney Houston's seven consecutive number ones record. Sure it's a tad far off right now but it is a very real possibility considering the things Katy's accomplished with this album.

Is there that big of a difference between RITD and GME? I hope RITD can pull off an 8thweek at #1.

I hope she waits and comes back with a new album in a year or two. She can still go after Whintey's record then. Certainly, a lead single from her next album will garner a lot of attention. Whitney did it with two albums; so can she.

The airplay of ET is still increasing rapidly. The single does have excellent sales. It may become the No.1 in the single sales this week again. However, in order for LFN to be No.1, it does not only depend on the performance of LFN itself. What you mentioned supports the fact that LFN perform extremely well. It does not guarantee that it would beat PRA and be No.1. In additional, the fact is that PRA sales more than LFN in today's itune chart and it still has more airplay currently. It is interesting to see how both songs perform in the coming few weeks. :)

but the PRA remixes are out, and Katy's are not. First, it is a pure discussion about the chart analysis. Please do not get me wrong. I did not say that LFN will not get No.1. I was replied to other message and clarify the facts. One is PRA might be No.1, while LFN in 2nd place or 3rd place. Second fact is that LFN would need to performs better than PRA to be No.1. Like the ET with Kayne does help ET to be No.1. If Katy's label can release some interesting remixes, it would help Katy to be No.1.
