OK a couple more listening, I give it 70. If I can replace Naked Love, KIBTM with bonus tracks, I'll give it 85. NCOE is a great song but it's kind of jarring hearing it right after Shady. The rest are pretty cohesive and have a nice flow. Especially now I'm getting more used to the dense sound on several dance tracks, I'm starting to like it. wow, imagine this was his debut album, he might have been in a different place now.

My roommate is blasting the CD right now. Sonically, I think it's far superior to his debut. What promo do they have lined up? American Idol next week and Chelsea Lately this Thursday... What else? I didn't know he's doing Chelsea Lately on Thursday!! I love his interviews with her!!!

I've listened to the first four tracks and I already like this album a lot more than his debut. His voice is better suited for these rhythmic tracks compared to the pop/rock of the first album (sans WYFM).

I'm thoroughly enjoying the album. So far, my faves are "Pop That Lock" and "Runnin'" but i'm sure it will change as I continue to explore everything here.
His voice is so gloriously epic on Underneath, I absolutely cannot wait to hear him do this in concert.

ALL MUSIC Adam Lambert Trespassing [Deluxe Edition]....There's a distinct lack of ballads on Trespassing -- they're clustered toward the end of the record, sometimes given a spangled once-over by producer Dr. Luke so they don't feel staid, sometimes hinting at the chilly, austere vistas of Ryan Tedder but sounding grander, warmer in the hands of Lambert. Here, the distance from the stuffiness of Idol is apparent but the heart of Trespassing lies in the first two-thirds of the album, when Lambert is strutting like a glam-disco diva, sparring with Dr. Luke and Pharrell Williams, belting out his hooks with an easy confidence. And he's got some great hooks here, too: big, bright, insistent hooks powering songs that revel in their sleaziness. Lambert matches their appeal, singing with an untrammeled joy suggesting that he's relishing an opportunity to make modern dance music. Williams is his greatest foil -- "Trespassing" and the Michael Jackson-via-Justin Timberlake "Kickin' In" grab immediately -- but that's not to slight the rest of the record, particularly the pulsating Nile Rodgers-fueled funk "Shady" and mirror-plated pop of "Cuckoo." Even if these songs never grace the charts, they sound like inevitable hits and prove that Lambert is a genuine pop star who has now left American Idol far behind. read full review... beta.allmusic.com/album/release/trespassing-deluxe-edition-mr0003548709

I listened to the album last week and I have to say I really love it! I prefer it over his last one. It was such an enjoyable album. I do love the uptempos, but I love the midtempos and ballads so much more. Adam's vocals are just fabulous on this record. He has grown a lot between the last album and now. The album felt like it was over too soon. :o I shall be purchasing the Deluxe edition. I'm thoroughly enjoying the album. So far, my faves are "Pop That Lock" and "Runnin'" but i'm sure it will change as I continue to explore everything here. His voice is so gloriously epic on Underneath, I absolutely cannot wait to hear him do this in concert. I love PTL and "Runnin" as well! And "Underneath" is sooo beautiful!

Is this a case where positive buzz will be enough to generate strong sales? It's not like his songs are burning up the charts right now. Anyway, can't wait to pick this up today.

Adam Lambert, 'Trespassing': Track-By-Track Review.by Jason Lipshutz, N.Y. | May 15, 2012 1:00 EDT Lambert's latest full-length dips into a variety of genres, playfully prodding at electronica and exploring the rock balladry of 2009 debut "For Your Entertainment," but mostly, Lambert just wants to dance. The first half of "Trespassing" frolics through well-worn funk, house and electro-pop tropes, but the club capers never get stale, thanks to Lambert's vocal charisma and ridiculous power. A song like "Shady" could collapse under its fatuous lyrics, but on the track, Lambert demonstrates the raw energy that would make him a great frontman for a band like, say, Queen. "I don't need no sympathy, I won't cry and whine/Life's my light and liberty, and I'll shine when I wanna shine," Adam Lambert sings on "Trespassing's" title track, which is in the running for 2012's "Most Deliriously Fun Pop Track" crown. The former "American Idol" finalist is often haunted by expectations and identity issues in his singles, but Lambert sports his most brilliant colors when he is oozing confidence, as on "Trespassing" and, thankfully, most of his second album. Because of the outlandishness embedded in everything he touches, it's easy to not take Adam Lambert seriously. This, of course, is a mistake. "Trespassing" continues the work of the underrated "For Your Entertainment" and allows the singer to keep unveiling his character in broad, colorful strokes. The lesson with Adam Lambert is the same now as it was when he was burning up "Idol" three years ago -- underestimate him at your own risk. read full review.... www.billboard.com/new-releases#/new-releases/adam-lambert-trespassing-track-by-track-1007060962.story

Congrats to Adam. #1 Woo Hoo! Some more current numbers Is the album getting a later release in Asia? I would think that he would do fantastic numbers in those countries... The 3 big markets (Japan, Germany, UK) and I think Australia and a few other smaller ones the album hasn't been released yet. Adam is moving to London for the months of June and July and he'll be promoting the album there and the rest of Europe and Asia and also doing the Queen gigs.

I honestly think this is my favorite album of the year! I haven't been this obsessed with a record since Femme Fatale. It was seriously worth the wait.

It's a decent record but the single choices have been off in my opinion. "Cuckoo" should have clearly been the lead single.

The album is good for me until I get to the eighth track or so where it starts to drag.
