Kimmel's show probably has more of an impact on iTunes than a CBS program, but every little bit would help.
Christopher Cross was not the greatest and his music was pretty sappy, but I liked a few of his hits (esp. "Think of Laura").

"All About That Bass" removed for the Title EP. "Shake It Off" back to number one. "Centuries" up to number two, could take number one and keep "Bass" from returning.

AATB up to #7 #6 already. Taylor still #1. Looks like Fall Out Boy has slowed down a lot on the pop bars.

I'm surprised "Two Night Town" hasn't buckled yet. "All About That Bass" has recovered to #4 so far, directly behind it then "Centuries". The John Newman-featuring "Blame" is also on the rise; #19 when I last checked and now #14.

I guess there wasn't much impact from the Fashion Rocks special? Not too shocking, given the numbers (just a 0.6 in the 18-49 demo and 2.37 million overall viewers).

4. Alex and Sierra - Here We Go....the continuous growth in each pre-sale track gives me hope the album is going to open fairly big

Also worth mentioning that "Habits (Stay High)" has surged to #4 and stayed there from last afternoon. Anyone know why since it's not album launch? In any case, this leaves me hopeful for a top 10 coup on the Hot 100.

Taylor got #1 back, but now it's Meghan again... How long will this flip flopping take place? EDIT: As of 11:47 PM central SIO had a dark red update and is now at 0.9868.. perhaps it'll give up the iTunes number one for good this time

You know, come October 10, Taylor might see a huge dropoff, because "Shake it Off" being preordered for 1989 won't count at that point. By then, I think the main competitors for #1 will be Black Widow and Bang Bang, because Anaconda is also slipping away in sales and streams.

I never had heard of alt-J- currently Nos. 1 and 2 on iTunes- uniutl looking at the latest chart. Band's prior album peaked at No. 80 on the Billboard 200, with the new album out today.

It's an instant grat so I wouldn't really consider it to be breaking any records...
