Now now, don't speak before it's made official by the Billboard Gods If the trend continues where Katy Perry not only gains on PRA and Maroon 5... and with the airplay margin widening.....

anything can happen, who knows that new Lil Wayne song might get an enormous digital lead throughout the week, also the discount effect might ware off fast (I remember the Only Girl discount didn't rise the weekly sales by very much)

Why are you laughing? I can't stand people who make fun whenever someone underperforms on the charts. Success isn't all that matters and I'm sure Katy still has a fair share of supporters regardless of her position. Everyone has a disappointment here and there in their career sometime, it's nothing new. For Bey it's "Ego/Work It Out" For Rih it's "We Ride/Rockstar/CKB" And for Katy it's "Thinking Of You/LFN" Leave her alone. He was LOLing because saying a huge #2 hit is a "sour note" is ridiculous. Not laughing AT Katy. Um excuse me, he said "LOL at the era ending on a sour note" So it's okay for him to laugh at the single doing how it is as long as he doesn't specifically name Katy huh? Smh, I see how ya'll mfers think. A mess. Not everything has to be a hit and I'm sure she can easily bounce back from this with her next album.

"LOL at the era ending on a sour note" = "people have to be joking about a #2 peak on a fifth single being a sour note", "it's such a ridiculous idea that you have to laugh", etc., not a slam on Katy, but her "haters".

It's ridiculous to classify LFN's performance as anything but impressive- of course I was LOL at the idea that the era would end on a "sour note" just because the single didn't peak at No. 1 on the Hot 100.

WOW lil Wayne is alredy no1. That was fast, considering the fact that MLJ is going to sell around 240k this week. It would be funny if he block LFN from no1. I know this song has no airplay but if he could sell around 300k... who knows.

I can't tell if Revolution is joking or not? You're either doing some sort of awkward satire or you're willfully misreading people.

Yoü & I up 13 places to #88. Damn! Video effect already? Fantastic! I'm really rooting for this to be a smash. Fantastic news about LFN increasing on PRA. If it keeps that up it may very well be able to get that #1 next week, if it didn't get it this week, that is.

So Katy may yet get that 5th #1? Why didn't they just discount the original last week at the same time as the remix? LOL That probably would have done it. Oh well, better late than never I guess.

1. She Will (feat. Drake) - Lil Wayne Lil' Wayne now #1 on Itunes, passed MLJ Was this released today or Monday? If it just dropped at midnight this has to be one of the quickest ascents to the top by a male artist.

Wow. So if Wayne hit #1 that quick, could he potentially be #1 on the Hot 100??
I guess Capitol should just take it as a sign from MJ beyond, that it's not meant to be.

It's not surprising if you think about it. Just last week Drake quickly ascended to #2 with his single. Wayne is gonna garner digital attention with anything. So those two combined makes an easy ascent to the top.

The $0.69 price is not gonna be as effective on iTunes since almost everything is currently at $0.69. Amazon is so kind.

Haha Lil Wayne could block Katy from #1. Possibly 350k first week sales for Lil Wayne? That should be enough to block Katy. Should not be a problem for someone who can sell 1 million albums first week.

I think what would be funnier, is if SW, MLG, PRA, and LFN were all within a few points of each other. Except LFN ends up in 4th barely behind them all. That way with her discounting the single for increased sales it falls spots. :kii:
