I was checking out Pitbull singles on wikipedia and noticed that he's featured on a Timbaland song with David Guetta called Pass At Me that is listed as being from Shock Value III?
In checking out the wiki page for Tim, apparently this has been planned all year. There may be a topic for this already. Apologies if there are. Search didn't return any. Any idea on who'll be featured this time other than Pitbull and Missy Elliott?

I remember hearing that the first single was supposed to be with Dev. I wonder if that song instead was instead given to Guetta ("I Just Wanna F*ck"). Hopefully they have something else planned instead because they could definitely make something as hot as "Promiscuous" or "Give It to Me" with the right song.

Hope it's more on par with Shock Value I. Shock Value II was kind of anemic.

When is this coming out? Based on Pass At Me, this will be the best Shock Value yet.

I hope not, or at least have a mixture of songs. Shock Value was fire, Shock Value 2 was okay.

I hope Timbaland includes some 90s R&B artists (SWV, En Vogue, Adina Howard, Montell Jordan, etc) and help give them some re-introduction to this generation.

All of his recent material is terrible. I don't have high expectations for this.

I liked both Shock Value albums, but they both had their respective terrible songs too. Hopefully "Pass at Me" is not an indication of what's to come on this album.

He hasn't really produced anything worthwhile in quite some time at this point. He's in a rut.

Yeah, his last TRULY great moments came from the 1-2 knockout of FS/LS and Loose eras. Everything else has been spotty at best.

I liked a few of the songs on SVII. SVI is definitely the better one though.

Both albums have some great standout tracks. SVI: "Give It Up To Me", "The Way I Are", "Apologize", "Miscommunication", "Scream", "Release" SVII: "Carry Out", "Lose Control", "Say Something", "Morning After Dark", "Meet in the Middle"
If SVIII can deliver at least 5 killer tracks, I can't wait.

I agree that SVII was spotty, but "If We Ever Meet Again" was one of my favorites of his in recent times, mostly because of Katy.

The only keeper on SVII for me was "Say Something".

I enjoyed Shock Value 2 alot more than I thought I was going to. Not many of the tracks screamed huge hit except mabey the song w/Katy Perry. I don't think that many are horrible as well.

Carry Out, If We Ever Meet Again and Morning After Dark are good, but Pass At Me is horrible. I hope the rest of the album is nothing like that.

SVII = Say Something, Meet In Da Middle, If We Ever Meet Again, Lose Control, & Carry Out. Those were the only ones worth listening to. And "Morning After Dark" occasionally. I hope this one is better. And I'm 99% sure Demi will be on it.

The album is due in June, and "Pass At Me" is no longer being considered the lead single. No word yet on whether or not it will make the tracklist.

Both Tim and DEV are playing at SXSW tonight so I'm guessing they will perform this song together.

After 5 years I finally get Covers Blown!!!!!! :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( Keri x Danja x Timbaland were incredible together. Lyrica Anderson is horrible for Tim. Plus Jerome Harmon is trash. I also got to tell Attitude to step it up because Tim has been trash lately.

"Shock Value" was a good title for the first album of the series since at that time it actually sounded innovative, fresh, and different.
Can't be said anymore. I really don't even know what Timbaland could do to get out of his current rut. I can't think of a possible scenario that would reignite his career at this point.
Also, Danja was mainly responsible for his domination in 2007. Danja has fallen off too. His most recent hit is STILL "Knock You Down" by Keri Hilson/Ne-Yo/Kanye West- three years ago now.

Well in Danja's defense, he hasn't really worked with any huge names recently..
