Not sure of other tracks and records, but didn't Mimi Carey's "We belong Together" gain 30m+ airplay in a week/ I know it had a daily gain of around 32m, but that's just part of the weekly cumulative total. I know it gained 23.5 million in a week (when it reached 192m or so), but not sure if had a weekly gain larger than that.

BTW- a random audience high from back in the 90s: When Donna Lewis' "I Love You Always Forever' was No. 1 on Hot 100 Airplay in September 1996, it set the weekly BDS high- 94 million. And, No. 2 "Change the World" stood at 59.6 million. That, of course, was before the addition of R&B, country, rock, etc. stations. Celine Dion's My Heart Will Go On" later set the pre-expanded-airplay-panel record, with 115 million. Of course, as more stations were added to the panel since 1991, that made it easier to reach the higher sums.

Yep, the queen did it. I remember it was 30m+, not sure the exact number. That's 4m+ a day.

Adele's having huge gains, but soon it will stall. It just has no crossover appea as RITD, let alone WBT. Urban and rhythmic won't play it.
