Speaking of Cumulus, nearly the entire block (13 of the 14) added Gloriana's labelmates Big & Rich today. BUT, it's not just Gloriana not getting played by Cumulus. Only 2 Cumulus stations have added Easton Corbin's "Lovin' You Is Fun" and Keith Urban's "For You", only 1 has added Thomas Rhett's "Something To Do With My Hands", only 5 have added Jana Kramer's "Why Ya Wanna", only 3 have added Love & Theft's "Angel Eyes", only 2 have added Alan Jackson's "So You Don't Have To Love Me Anymore", only 3 have added Hunter Hayes' "Wanted", only 1 has added The Farm's "Home Sweet Home", and only 4 have added Thompson Square's "Glass". For all these songs, the Cumulus stations are pretty much the only hold-outs, though some songs a little lower down (Alan, Hunter, etc.) still have a few other stations to pick up as well. I expect Keith Urban's song out of that group will be the next one they add.

I think this might actually get to #1. It kind of reminds me of A Little Bit Stronger in the sense you knew it would be a massive hit, and once it hit the Top 20, Radio kind of just then realized it's potential. It is still fresh to so many listeners and stations that I don't think the number of weeks will effect it too badly.

Not sure it can last that long but here in Nashville it's still not even being played on 2 of the biggest stations, so the only time I hear it is on my drive home on the 1 station that is playing it and I'm still not tired of hearing it.

This is probably my favorite song on the chart right now. I think it's great. It's not quite as great as "Guinevere" was though.
I see this song hitting the top three with an outside shot at number one.

^If EYB had released that now, it'd be a big hit. "Crazy Girl" was really their first single for Republic, since Jet Black & Jealous (the album containing "Guinevere") had been out since 2008 and was released by Universal South.
Republic, much like the other Big Machine labels, has done pretty well breaking in new acts. Obviously there's The Band Perry and the Eli Young Band, but they've also done pretty good with Martina, considering she's not nearly the star she used to be. And I'm expecting Greg Bates to do quite well, too.

Sorry for the double post, but it's been almost a week. Just wanted to say that Gloriana should pick up their first top 10 hit on Monday's 6/30 Billboard chart. I do think Kenny will finally move ahead, but both Kip Moore and the Zac Brown Band should go recurrent, allowing Gloriana to move up a spot to #10.

^that's great news. They must be thrilled. I am glad they didn't call it quits. They are better without the other chick and I cannot wait for the new CD! I just hope they have another hit single or two from the forthcoming CD once this one finishes it's chart run.

I hear this on the radio a lot now. I sure hope those Cumulus hold-outs do add this song, because its way too good to come so far and not reach its full potential. Oh and when they played it on one of my stations today, the chick at the radio station came on after the song with "And that was Gloriana with their debut single."

So why did this succeed when their other songs didn't? I thought all their singles were good.

Their other singles just didn't have the same "it factor," except Wild at Heart (but to a lesser extent than this song).

I missed the "Even if it Breaks Your Heart" thread and accidentally posted in this one. This song is nowhere near my favorite song on the chart, and not similar to "Guinevere" at all.

Nice to see this made it to #9 on BB. Another week gone by, and still no adds by the block of Cumulus Stations. I wish bad things for Cumulus and hope someone buys them out in the future.

I really thought they were going to add it this week, and was pretty shocked when they didn't. Maybe now that it's safely in the top 10 on both charts they'll add in next week. Also, props to Gloriana for holding Kenny off this week. It's unlikely they'll be able to again next week, but I didn't expect them to hold up as well as they have with that powerhouse song breathing down their necks.

I thought it would be added this week as well. Kenny did pass them on MB I think. This song has been out for so long now that I don't think it can hold out much longer especially without those stations spinning it. I'm not a chart expert though so I don't know .

Yeah, Kenny did pass them on Mediabase - but that's rather arbitrary, since nobody knows/understands their point system. ;) It's really tough to say how this song will hold up. It's still selling well, and it's possible that alone will help continue to move it forward. Top 10 is absolutely great for Gloriana, though. 5 singles and they've not accomplished that? Crazy. I don't doubt they're going to keep pushing this as long as they can, but I won't be surprised if it peaks between 5 and 7.

I'm starting to like Warner Bros. cause they've seemed to be making some smart decisioins over the last two years or so. Sticking with Gloriana, sticking with Jason Jones, Brett Eldredge and resigning Randy Travis and Dwight Yoakam. Hopefully it's paying off for them.

I think this will end up peaking at #4 just like Martina did, although I wouldn't mind at all for this to reach #1. Sadly, I just don't see them scoring another big hit like this any time soon. Hope I'm wrong, wish these guys the best luck

I'm hoping Gloriana can regain momentum with this song and still take it to #1. I think it's possible it can still happen.

Wow. Almost top 5 and the album has yet to be released. Maybe this can make it to the top by the end of the month.

If they're going to go for #1, and it's quite possible that they are, it will probably be August when it peaks: you've got EYB likely next week, Dierks/Kenny the next two to three, and then the following week would likely be Gloriana's best bet.

Definitely think this song is the breakout song of the year ala Are You Gonna Kiss Me Not. Obviously both songs have kiss in the name, but both songs are really putting their respective group in the limelight.

Oh and when they played it on one of my stations today, the chick at the radio station came on after the song with "And that was Gloriana with their debut single." Well, that's nothing compared to what the host of the only country music program in Spain said a couple of weeks ago.... According to him, this is the first single (???) from their second album, which is already available in the stores (??????), and one of the members of the band is Cheyenne Kimball (???????????). He actually talked a lot about her and how he had a solo career before Gloriana and all that, but never metioned she's not in the band anymore. I shouldn't complain anyway. That's the only guy who plays some country music here and he's been doing it for 40 years now.
