Has a non single ever charted on a year end chart from digital sales? Is Taylor Swift's Today Was a Fairytale counted? It's not really a single right? If yes it was #84 last year

I am not sure statistics are kept on performance of singles that chart without radio promotion. Since essentially every song these days is a single
If you go back pre-itunes, I am sure you can find an example of a song that charted on sales alone with little or no airplay.

Does anyone know what issue the year end stuff is in? I typically like to purchase those issues.
BLI-12/17/2011 BILLBOARD BACK ISSUE V 123 N 48
Is this the year-end one? :) thanks

You can really see how fast Born This Way (#18) and Hold it Against Me (#60) burnt out despite being #1 hits. Particularly BTW. Has a song with 6 weeks at #1 ever ranked so low before (aside from songs that had their chart runs split due to timing, like We Found Love)?
Amazed at Adele, although kind of a bummer she missed #1 on radio songs, probably by just a hair.

YES!!!! I was hoping Adele was gonna have #1 this year; now, I'm glad to find out that she does. Can't wait to find out what the DJ Earworm mashup will sound like.

Wow I really didn't expect Bruno to go THAT high. Glad Super Bass and MLJ made Top 10, and Katy has 2 songs in the top 4 Just like Gaga and BEP did 2 years ago.

Only artists in Billboard history to be #1 artist of the year, #1 album of the year, #1 song of the year. (Note - the artist-of-the-year list only existed since 1981)
Adele is the first female act to do so.
George Michael - Faith - "Faith" - 1988 Ace Of Base - The Sign - "The Sign" - 1994 50 Cent - Get Rich Or Die Tryin' - "In da Club" - 2003 Usher - Confessions - "Yeah!" - 2004 Adele - 21 - "Rolling In The Deep" - 2011
Unlike these artists however, Adele will probably also win Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year at the Grammys. George Michael did win Album of the Year.

I don't know about 6 weeks but "Lady Marmalade" by Christina etc. was #1 for 5 weeks and only #24 on the year-end chart in 2001, and the chart run didn't span more than one chart year. and "Rude boy" was only #15 on last years chart, despite spending 5 weeks at #1.
