Billboard Brazil said the single should be out by October. She has her Abbey Dawn fashion show mid-september so I imagine she'll drop information during that event.

Chad Kroeger Cheated On Ohio Girlfriend With Avril Lavigne, Claims Ex

Avril Lavigne's engagement to Nickelback rocker Chad Kroeger shocked everyone, but no one more than his ex-girlfriend — whom RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned claims she was cheated on and dumped for Avril!

Kristen DeWitt is a 27-year-old blonde bombshell from Salem, Ohio and had been quietly dating Chad for years after his breakup from long-time Canadian girlfriend Marianne Goriuk in 2002, until things went sour about four months ago.


"Chad and Kristen were happily dating until they made a mutual split in May," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

"His engagement to Avril completely caught Kristen off guard and the timelines don't match up. Chad had to have been seeing Avril behind Kristen's back."

When the engagement went public on Tuesday Kristen took to Twitter to express her shock saying, "the moment u find out ur ex of four months engaged the girl he was cheating on you with! #classic."

But before news of Avril and Chad's engagement broke on Tuesday, someone tipped her off, asking whether or not she was aware that he may have been seeing someone else to which she replied, "not to my knowledge, the man barely has time to eat during the day. This is the first I've heard of It n we've remained close."


According to reports, Avril and Chad have been dating for six months before he put the 14-carat sparkler on her ring finger — which would mean they began seeing each other in February, but he and Kristen didn't break up until May.

"Yes I'm dating a girl from Ohio," Chad admitted in April to Dave & Jimmy from WNCI radio.

On Thursday Kristen retweeted a quote presumably about Chad that read: "Got played. Got hurt. Cried Tears. Cursed his name. Learned a lesson. Moved on."

The timelines really don't match. Even though I usually disagree with "killingtime" he made good points in his previous post. Nickleback was on tour, Avril was in Paris, vacation with girlfriends in Mexico, etc. There is no way they've spent more than 45 days together in total. I do think it's a publicity stunt, and did from the start. I'll seriously be amazed if it's a real thing.

While this is alarming and very suspicious, it's not necessarily a big reason to suspect anything from it. A student from my high school who graduated last year met this girl a few days after graduation, and got married to her in a Wal-Mart parking lot about 2.5 months later, and sadly, this kind of thing isn't too uncommon. (So much for the "sanctity of marriage.")

However, as more and more things come through, it looks more and more suspicious. If it really was a publicity stunt, then it was a horrible one. There's nothing but bad buzz surrounding it. I know it puts her name back on the map and will put more interest into her lead single release, but now, most people are just going to laugh it off when they hear about it and not check it out and just start talking about the marriage.

Yeah but just because two people have been together for a long time doesn't always mean they are happy. I'm not saying Mariah and Nick aren't but I think Avril and Chad are moving waay too fast to be getting married. I know people change over the years and all but I would've never pictured the girl that sang "Complicated" and "Don't Tell Me" marrying the guy who sang "Figured You Out" and "Something In Your Mouth".

if you want to believe Chad and think there was no cheating involved, then he could not have been seeing Avril for longer than 3 weeks until he popped the question and they won't see each other much more this year before his tour will end, which all seems like an ideal and solid fundament for a long lasting relationship

Love is illogical, it's unexplainable. Experience may not help... I've seen mature ladies who are in their 40-50s & they're still falling for the same kind of guy that didn't work out for them before. Sometimes, you'll do irrational things for love. Not everything have to be reasonable & rational.

Whatever it is, publicity stunt or not, I just want the music from Avril. It's her music that made me love her 10 years ago and it's still the same now. She can fuck Marilyn Manson all she wants but just give me the good music.

Chad Kroeger Opens Up About Engagement to Avril Lavigne

It's been three weeks since Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger wowed the world with the happy news of their surprise engagement. But one person who isn't paying attention to everyone else's reaction is the Nickelback rocker himself.

I think we will get the new single this year. Album will probably be out December-February.

I really hope the album is out this year rather than early next year. She's going to need every bit of help she can get in the sales dept. and releasing the album around the holidays would be a much better decision than putting it out in Q1.
