Radio 1 is playing Let Go in full on Wednesday :) That'$ random. Why are they? They play full albums every so often. It's good for Avril. Spin her best album and get people thinking about her name again before a new single gets released. Her UK audience has pretty much dissolved, so it's a good start to gaining recognition again. |

I found so weird what's happening with her. She's been my fave since Let Go, but somewhere since the release of GL, I completely lost all my interest in her, and I she's not serving me anything that makes me think I should reconsider that.

I love it!!!
Very nice vocals... somehow it reminds me of Sarah Mclachlan. And yeah, I also feel UMS vibes. God... i cant wait for 5th album to come. Im pretty sure Avril, chad and david did a great job.

Funny actually, it's exactly what I expected the songs of Goodbye Lullaby to sound like when she was describing it. She made an entire album with that vision, but this song actually has her vocals more at the forefront than any song on Goodbye Lullaby. Gives me a lot of excitement about the original material to come our way. It's the most adult she's sounded it a long time.

Now THIS is the Avril I love. Great production on the track, it's giving me Fiona Apple vibes.
Not worried at all now with the work she did with Chad and David Hodge.
Hope we get the first single in january!

And thats a shame, cause i really enjoy the show. Anyway, the song is creating some buzz for her. A good one. The critics about the music are all good, even perez hilton wrote good things about it. Looks like they (Avril, Chad and David) did a first cover very alike with Nickelback's version. Chavril didnt enjoy much and they put some efforts to change it. Also, the idea for a cover song in the movie came from Avril, speaks Chad. |
