I have a feeling this will be her best album since Let Go. I've at least enjoyed every song I've heard from it. The clip of "Give Me What You Like" is incredible, and "Sippin' On Sunshine" sounds fun too.

I have a feeling this will be her best album since Let Go. I hope so. This album will have to be really, really good to top UMS and TBDT, though. I love both of those from start to finish.

I am in the minority who likes Goodbye Lullaby best. After all, it's the only album I paid for from Avril. Wish You Were Here ALONE >>>>>>>>

I think all of her albums her are fairly strong. This one sounds like it will be diverse, like Let Go.

Now *that's* a minority. Goodbye Lullaby is a great album. It has some real gems (the singles, 'Stop Standing There', 'Darlin', 'Goodbye'). Plus it gave me what is possibly my favorite Avril song ever ('Everybody Hurts').

Howard asked some great questions. Talks about not winning a Grammy at 30:00. Great interview, but long! Talks about Kelly having Breakaway and even sings a bit at 32:45

It's interesting because she was signed as a country singer and her voice does lend naturally to that genre. Hearing her do Breakaway had a lot of country influence.

I think it's funny how in that video she says she gave away a song called "Daydream" to Demi Lovato.
It ended up going on Miranda Cosgrove's debut album instead.

Avril should have kept "Daydream." That song would have slayed. Whoever let Avril let that go should be fired.

I really feel like that entire era would have went better if she had released Daydream as the first single like I think was originally planned. However, I really grew to appreciate Don't Tell Me and I am happy she released it.

It's a good song, but could have been released third.

This sounds fun and ridiculous and so over the top and I'm into it.

I hate that she's singing that, but it sounds hot. The club is going to play that.

How's the album? I was waiting to buy it before I listened but I'm wondering if I should just jump ship now.

I'm listening, it sounds like the bets parts of older Avril albums. I can't give it a good listen though.

I've only quickly glanced over each track on my lunch, but from first listen: HUGE step in the right direction. Held back by a couple songs (R&R, Hello Kitty), but overall it sounds like what 2013 Avril should be. Falling Fast, Give You What You Like & Hush Hush are the immediate favorites. Bad Girl sounds like it was off a Pretty Reckless album.

Ugh, it's killing me not to stream the album this very second, but I really want to wait until Nov. 5th. I can do it. at killingtime. I at least give him props for being consistent in his hate.

I don't even LIKE Avril Lavigne but this album is AMAZING. Must-listens: "Rock n Roll", "Give You What You Like", "Hello Heartache", "Hush Hush".

Her vocal delivery is incredible. It's like a John Mayor song meets Dido. The tone is all Avril though. Edit: Falling Fast is self-written? Love it even more.

Everyone I know who has heard the album is raving about that song but I can't get into it for some reason. I think "Give You What You Like" and "Hush Hush" are easily my favorite so far. "Hello Kitty" is also fun. Stupid, but fun.

Only worth tracks are "Let Me Go", "Give You What You Like", "Bad Girl" and "Hello Kitty". The rest is veeeeery filler. The sad part is that Never Growing Up and Rock n Roll represents better what the full album is than "Let Me Go" does.

at killingtime. I at least give him props for being consistent in his hate. hey, I did not say it sucks, but I am thinking "could have been a lot better, less monotone, more emotional, less boring" on half of the songs while the other half is ... really bad Bad Girl, Hello Heartache, Hush Hush, Ain't Seen Nothin Yet are okay, but again they could have been better if someone else produced this
