I think RiRi has a small chance of getting her album to #1 after a period of time like Nicki

Can you imagine if Buble is somehow #1 over debuts by Rihanna and Nickelback and a second week by Drake? LOL. I think Pulse might implode, haha.

Is it just me, or does it feel like 2011 has a lot of massive first week openers compared to last year? Not that it's a bad thing.

If your massive is over 500k, yes, 2011 will have more than 2010 including Drake. (If Susan Boyle hadn't happened in 2009, that year would be way weaker in overall weeks over 500k -- it already was on debuts.)

If Mac falls somewhere in the middle of that projection that would lead him to a ~77% drop. He'll probably have a similar chart run to Wale then Wale isn't going to fall next week (30-35k again)

www.billboard.com/#/column/chartbeat/drake-childish-gambino-to-storm-billboard-1005544602.storyAs earlier reported, Drake's second-full length studio album, "Take Care," is on its way to a big debut on the Billboard 200 chart next week. Industry prognosticators suggest the set may sell around 675,000 to 700,000 copies by week's end on Sunday, Nov. 20. Right behind him is Michael Buble's "Christmas" album, which figures to be a strong seller through the holidays. Adele's "21" set is at No. 3 on the Building tally, followed by the new "Glee, the Music: The Christmas Album, Volume 2" at No. 4. The latter offering could enter the chart with around 60,000 to 80,000 copies sold. The first "Glee" "Christmas" album debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard 200 dated Dec. 4, 2010, with 161,000 sold. It eventually peaked at No. 3 for two non-consecutive weeks. It's currently the second-biggest selling "Glee" album (945,000) behind the first "Glee: Season One: The Music, Volume 1" set (1.2 million). Justin Bieber's holiday release "Under the Mistletoe" is at No. 5 on the Building chart, with two new sets right behind him: Childish Gambino's "Camp" at No. 6 and the various artists charity compilation "Cities 97 Sampler 23: Live From Studio C" at No. 7. While Gambino seems to be a lock for a top 10 debut, the "Cities 97" set likely won't make the top 10 on the Billboard 200 next week. To reach the top 10 next week, an album will have to sell -- likely -- around 60,000 to 70,000 units. However, there were only 33,000 copies of the "Cities 97" available and all of them had sold out by 11:15 AM on Nov. 17 -- the day it was released. (The album was exclusively available at local Target stores.) So, despite its robust sales, 33,000 won't be enough to make the top 10 (but a top 25 arrival is likely!). Nielsen SoundScan Building Chart Rank LW BB 200 Artist Title 1 NEW Drake "Take Care" 2 2 Michael Buble "Christmas" 3 5 Adele "21" 4 NEW Soundtrack "Glee, the Music: The Christmas Album, Volume 2" 5 6 Justin Bieber "Under the Mistletoe" 6 NEW Childish Gambino "Camp" 7 NEW Various Artists "Cities 97 Sampler 23: Live From Studio C" 8 3 Various Artists "NOW 40" 9 NEW Andrea Bocelli "Concerto: One Night in Central Park" 10 8 Coldplay "Mylo Xyloto"

Lil Wayne really has an eye for talent. He is cashing in big time with Drake and Nicki.

Whoa -- huge week last year! Yeah the big albums seemed to be released the week BEFORE Black Friday last year. This year the big albums seem to be coming out the week of Black Friday. So we may see a small year-to-year decrease this week but I'm quite positive we'll see quite a gain next week

This update further supports that an outlet does not give the sales from all of its locations to HITS at once- based on Jackie Evancho's numbers, some Walmart stores have reported, but not all. I suppose some outlets could buy copies of Evancho's album and sell it at their outlets- but would HITS not count those? Doesn't SoundScan have something in place for those"double sales"?

Lady GaGa's remix album is #49 on iTunes. Not looking good.
