^ To add to the list of similarities, Ke$ha has said that she is aiming to release her album in May. I have a feeling that Ke$ha's upcoming era will be her Teenage Dream, meaning that she'll be smashing left and right and blowing the other chicks out of the water. I think she's going to be massive in 2012/13. Does that mean she's prepping her first single now?

I'm amazed how similar Ke$ha and Gaga's charts are... An album followed by an EP to "extend" the album, followed by another album. First song is #1, first song off of the EP is a big hit (#1 for Ke$ha, made up by Gaga's PF at #1). After the final single off of the EP, take a long break: Alejandro to BTW, Blow to something. Ke$ha's next new single will probably be a big hit, selling a lot like BTW and reaching #1, making 3 #1s each. Plus, they have all of their singles in the top 10 on Billboard. So weird how it's so similar... I know, right? I've been watching that for a while. I'm curious to see who will be the first to break their streak. The only major difference is album sales. The Fame/Fame Monster sold way more than Animal/Cannibal. However, they really do have a similar chart run thus far. I do think that RCA modeled the EP after Gaga's though, since they saw how well it did for her.

I don't know about the Teenage Dream comment... I thought Ke$ha said her album will be more cock-rock oriented? Rock isn't really pop friendly... But who knows how much "rock" it actually ends up being.

But who knows how much "rock" it actually ends up being. There probably won't be any rock. It will just be in your face pop, kind of like some genres of Rock do.

"Rock" seems to mean something different these days. Look at "Party Rock Anthem" or Gaga calling her BTW album a "rock" album.

I guess that's true. Didn't think about it that way...

I don't see Ke$ha having a TD album. She's big but not that big... But then again, who would have guessed Katy would have so much success from TD?

OMG!! How I have missed Ke$ha :( Would be lovely if she had a TD-esque run(but only 4 number 1's please, don't want anyone to tie Katy so soon).
Lovin' the gains for "Ni**as in Paris"...such a great song.

Can't really compare AIWFCIY airplay from last year to this year as Michael has substantial airplay with his version, new version with Justin, etc.

I wonder how long WFL will be #1 in airplay? The next song that is actually making substantial gains under it is Bruno's and he's almost 50 mil behind her. Thanks to the freeze his gains won't be that big either. If he scored 2 mil a day, and she only loses a small bit, after 2 weeks he still wouldn't be near her.

WFL will be #1 in airplay til New Years, that's a given. IWR and TOTGA will make massive gains the first week of January and will challenge the top spot then. Also, expect songs like PRA and GME to resurage for a week when the Year End radio countdowns start..
As for the the Hot 100 #1, I'm surprised Bruno or LMFAO haven't been able to gain a major lead digitally over WFL, since Rih's sales are pretty low atm..

I know pretty much everyone has probably burned out the whole "OMG Teenage Dream singles" but seriously, the 6th single looks like it will easily coast to a number 2 airplay peak, maybe even number 1 if it can outlast IWR. Who would've thunk it?

Yeah, sales have been low all around, so it kinda evens itself out. If SAIKI or IWR can manage to get that #1 on Itunes during Christmas week, they can dethrone her, at least for a week. But the way things are looking, Bruno's sales are lacking, and SAIKI cant manage to create a decent lead on WFL in order to make up for the airplay. As long as things remain the way they are, WFL will be #1 for a very long time.

Yep. Katy is close to breaking a record. I thought she already broke the record for most airplay #1's from an album?

I need a remix for KP's song and I mean a new beat not necessarily new vocals or a rap...although a rap would be nice...

Holy shit Ke$ha's remix of "Sleazy" is so f'ing epic. Curious to see how this does in digital downloads this week.
