Young Jeezy and Common are next week's "big" releases- could YJ threaten Buble's reign at No. 1? Don't forget Adele...

^As per the label street sheet, Young Jeezy is projected to sell 222K and Common 68K. Of course these can be off somewhat.

Jeezy has no hit in sight.. No way he'll open with 222k as its predecessor did 260k after a top 20 hit.
Although with rap albums you can never tell.. They can turn out to be pleasant surprises.

I think Jeezy will do 200k. So i guess he'll get the 3/4 spot.

^She might be at 6xp now. She was just certified 5x platinum by RIAA When an album sells as fast as "21", they're often behind. Certifications go by actual shipments of the album, not sold copies. After this week it'll be over 5.2 million and there is no doubt in my mind there is at least 800,000 copies of this album in stores, thus it has shipped enough for a 6*Platinum certification. The process for certification, however, is quite slow which explains why it was just certified quintuple platinum when there is no doubt it's actually at least sextuple platinum.

I think so also, given his CONSTANT pushbacks.
Common, idk, he's wishy-washy. But he hasn't had no promo/or hit from this album.

So in my mind the question now is: will Adele out-perform her debut sales week next week? I think it's entirely possible.

:o @ Adele's numbers!! If she can pull anywhere close to that for the next 2 weeks, she'll probably sell 6 million before 21's release date comes around again.

Wait.. Final Update on Monday? I thought HITS only published the Final Updates on Tuesdays ??? Wait, you do realize this is the week before Christmas? A lot of people have off this week. HITS is obviously trying to get the hell out of the office early this week. THANK YOU, Hits, for posting the Final chart early this week even though someone here doesn't seem to appreciate it.

Or maybe he was just wondering why they posted the chart on Monday? I was wondering the same thing. Christmas isn't until Sunday. MOST people are working the majority of this week, so it is understandable that someone would question why they posted the full chart early. Nowhere in that post did he say he wasn't appreciative. Jesus.

There's only one more week of pre-Christmas sales. She could do in the 350k range this week but the week after will cover Dec 26-Jan 1 and will see a pretty steep tumble for everyone.

Have they done some significant promo or is it just the word of mouth?
The second biggest xmas album of the year anyway. Glad for them.
