I doubt that about 5 singles deep. If so, they picked the wrong album to do it. [/ There's plenty of great songs left for 2 more singles - it's been the labels plan to go 5 deep all along. Also, Blake hasn't started cutting a new record yet ... So there's no new record to go to.

Yay! I knew there'd be at least one more single from the album! That said, I haven't heard the record yet, so I can't comment on how good of a single choice this is. I really need to sit down and stream True Believers, because I like his voice, all the singles, and he has songs w/ Sheryl Crow and Mallary Hope, so... plenty of good reasons to check it out, lol.

Actually, I'm not that enthusiastic about the rest of the True Believers era; yeah, "Wagon Wheel" and "Radio" were both successful in their own right (especially the former), but I personally don't think "Miss You" would be a wise choice. Then again, I don't even remember it.

LeAnn Rimes featuring Rob Thomas and Jeff Beck "Gasoline and Matches"
The video for this song just premiered on VH1 countdown. Will the song be sent to country or possibly HotAC radio? Anyone know?
Thanks,

Thanks for the link. I guess it just looks like a video release at this time. I don't follow LeAnn's personal world but while I was searching the web for this video a headline came up that she and her husband have split. If true it probably isn't the time for LeAnn to be promoting any new music.
Thanks again.

Darius has a history of singling really bad songs he's written with his producer Frank Rogers ..... So yes, unfortunately this is probably true. This song tanking on the charts will bring an end to this record.

Well, "Miss You" would be the 4th single from Darius' album, so regardless of how it performs on the chart, I think it would be the end to the album anyway.

The record will be Gold by the end of this release's cycle. That's pretty good after the underwhelming end of "Charleston, SC 1966" and the start of this album's cycle with the title track. But he better 'bring it' with album #4 with Capitol or else his run on the charts could be nearing its conclusion.

Unnamed New Female Artist on Rate the Music today. "All Crazy in Love", "Bones" (the Keith Gattis song on Gary Allan's latest album), and "Baby, Come on With It" were the choices for the single. Sounded a bit like Carrie Underwood but not quite that good. Any insiders or big time fans know who that was?

That would be Natalie Stovall & The Drive, a new act on HitShop Records. I like the ep they put out which includes all 3 of the songs. If those are the one's they're considering for release then I hope they go with "All Crazy In Love", I didn't care for their take on "Bones".

The Highway has been playing "Bones" as one of their "On the Horizon" cuts. I liked it. (As an aside, I really appreciate the love The Highway gives to female vocalists!)

I actually think they already decided on Bones as the single, because it's up on Amazon for an upcoming digital release. It was the best one of the three for me, and quite different from Gary's version.

That video is fantastic. Hopefully this song can receive a push somewhere in the new year (HotAC seems like the best option). It's a really good song from one of the better albums released this year (at least out of the ones I've heard). It's a shame that LeAnn has essentially been blacklisted from country radio.

Blake Shelton currently has a streak of 10 back to back Number Ones. It would have been twelve if "I'll Just Hold On" went a little bit higher. I definitely see the streak coming to an end sooner then later. I would prefer his "Male Vocalist of the Year" streak end first! That one is just a little more annoying than every single he puts out going to #1 no matter if it sucks or not!

Jake Owen performed "Ghost Town" on GMA, it has also been getting a lot of spins. I'd be suprised if it wasn't the next single.
