There are going to be a lot of casualties when it comes to singles this month. Here's a list of all the major label releases:
June 30

And there are a lot of other singles out now or soon to be released that don't have adds dates yet...Luke's "Roller Coaster" (doesn't seem like it will actually get an adds date), Ben Rue's "I Can't Wait (Be My Wife)", Dylan Scott's "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm", Thomas Rhett's "Make Me Wanna", plus the debuts from Kelsea Ballerini and Native Run, if their labels decide to send them for adds soon. There are others too (Chris Lane, Neal McCoy, Dallas Smith, Sweetwater Rain, Lonestar, Tate Stevens, etc) but I doubt any of those songs chart on the main chart...maybe Tate if he gets a full push from RPM, and perhaps Chris Lane and Dallas but only if Big Loud Mountain partners with a bigger label for promo).
And given how slowly the chart has been moving...yikes!

Yikes is right. The guy in my avi is dropping a single probably in early August. I hope he does not get lost in the shuffle.

Yikes is right. The guy in my avi is dropping a single probably in early August. I hope he does not get lost in the shuffle. I'm sure that Columbia is taking into account all the new singles that are coming out and try to position his single to have the best shot possible. Even if that means waiting two or three months longer than they would like. |

He's on a radio tour and I somehow missed him going to WWYZ/Hartford and am extremely bummed and I can't seem to find what his single is and its driving me nuts. Has anyone heard a peep about an upcoming Casey James single? Starting to think this is falling thru the cracks and not really going anywhere. I know he has multiple tracks recorded but no word on a single or album. Bummer.

Starstruck staff is working to upload and prepare content for the new site now. They said the launch was delayed due to features not being 100% ready which could be the case but I believe it was because they want to try and get feeling of everything new all at once and kinda of have this bigger moment with everything happening at once. This is something I found funny. Reba when she was pitched an idea for a show if she turned it down first they would always say well they'd get garth to do it, and they both put on one hell of a show. Reba's Fancy Club (the new fan site if your just reading this now) is apparently going to be like a brand new kind of Social Media site for Reba fans. Now Garth's new website is coming and he'll join FaceBook & Twitter but his site as he said is also gonna be a nice kind of social media. So I thought it was funny still now in 2014 it sounds like they're doing something similar almost. |
