Do we know anything about a new single from Chase Rice? I'm really enjoying Gonna Wanna Tonight. That's the rumored next single.

From the midweek update, a new Josh Turner single:
Josh Turner unveiled four new tracks for the Billboard Country Update this week in the Massenburg Room at Blackbird Studios in Nashville. While he remains committed to traditional country, he’s found subtle sonic flavors that keep the sound fresh and contemporary. First single “Lay Low” cleverly takes an escapist tack without a single mention of alcohol. The new title will be released to radio in September.

Time Is Love spent way too much time on the chart and peaked at #2 (despite being the top song of the year).

^ One thing's for sure, Josh isn't changing his music whatsoever and I love it. "Lay Low" sounds right up his ally and I would love for it to get him back to the top 10. It sounds very traditional in a time where that's unfortunately becoming fewer and farther between these days. I could care less how long "Time Is Love" took to climb, or really how long it took "Long Black Train" or "Your Man" to climb. If "Lay Low" can become as big as those songs, I'll take it.

"Lay Low" sounds like it's going to be another great tune from the great Josh Turner. I am super excited for new music from him, and it's a shame that even if it turns into another big hit for him, it'll take a long time to get there, so I'm sure I'll be anxiously awaiting the rest of the album for quite some time, yet. But as long as "Lay Low" returns him to No. 1, I'll be very happy to wait. It's a shame he's never maintained A-list status at country radio, because his voice is easily one of the most unique and just downright beautiful ones to grace the airwaves this past decade.

Trisha's single, "PrizeFighter" is a duet with Kelly Clarkson.

That Turner song sounds amazing. It's been far too long since he's been relevant on radio airwaves!

It looks like Capitol is finally starting to launch Mickey Guyton's career!! From Mickey's Facebook:
There's a 15 second clip of the song...I can make out some of the lyrics but I'm not sure what song it is. It might be from the Unbreakable EP she released a little while back (if anyone downloaded that, they might be able to compare the Facebook clip to the downloaded tracks) but of course it could be another song, too.

About time! This chick is AMAZING! Along with Maddie + Tae, she is my prediction on the next female breakthrough. Beautiful voice and looks and just an awesome persona. I wish her well!

Interesting article I just found. Apparently there is talk of Ray Price's duet with Martina McBride, "An Affair to Remember", being released to radio this fall! I see no possible way the song gets any airplay whatsoever, but it is neat that they are even considering it! Source

If any stations will choose to play that duet between Price & McBride, the 'NASH-Icon' stations out there, including the newly-launched one in nearby Oxnard, CA (http://www.1063thesurf.com) currently sailing through 10,000 songs without commercials, will very likely be the best bets to hear songs such as this; heavens know they've been playing Lee Ann Womack's wonderful-and-then-some 'The Way I'm Livin' 5-6 times a day, easily the best song on the radio right now.

Casey James announced the lead single from his sophomore album last night: "When We Get Together". No adds date yet. Happy Day!!!! Well, it looks like Sony or someone changed their mind on this single. Casey James played at the Opry last night and announced that "Fall Apart" is actually going to be the next single then said it would be coming "very soon". Here is a link of him telling the crowd about the single the night before the Opry: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O2BpyCqpDg&feature=youtu.be I am hoping for an official announcement sometime in the near future!!!! I'd love to hear y'alls input on the song! I think it's miles better than the lead single from his last album.

FGL's rumored next single will be "Sun Daze", but it probably won't be confirmed for another month yet at least. One of the incredible lyrics, a possible super disgusting double entendre that Farce The Music is already all over: "I set you up on the kitchen sink and stick the pink umbrella in your drink" ...

^^^ Verse 1] I'm gonna wear my flip-flops and I'm gonna play some flip-cup and Rock a little bit of hip-hoping and Haggard and Jagger And throw a 20 on the court whole game If I'm lucky yeah I might get laid The way that it's going, the keg gon' be floating
[Chorus] All I wanna do today is wear my favorite shades and get stoned Work a little less, play a little more That's what this day is for And all I wanna do is lace my J's and put some Jack in my Coke Work on my lay back, ain't nothin' wrong With gettin' my sun daze on, gettin' my sun daze on
[Verse 2] Girl you know you're the life of my party You can stay and keep sippin' Bacardi Stir it up as we turn on some Marley If you want you can get on Harley I sit you up on a kitchen sink Stick the pink umbrella in your drink They way that we're feeling we gone buy this evening

When the "Sun Daze" lyrics are spelled out...wow, wow, wow. I like music when it's art, not garbage.

Nothing but trash. Complete trash. OMG at those lyrics. I know music is subjective and everybody loves different kinds of music, but songs with those lyrics I personally could never get behind no matter how catchy a melody is. I completely agree about garbage and pray that this isn't a single, which appears to be wishful thinking.

^ wow, I just don't know what to say. I thought with dirt we would see a mature side of FGL. Guess not. We need someone that is respected in country music (ie, George Strait) get up and say how much a travesty these lyrics are for all fans. Come on George step up and stop this sh*t.
People can like all different types of country whether that be traditional or bro, but anyone who says those lyrics are appropriate and good for country music as a whole is really not thinking.

^ phil1996, Not trying to be nit-picky, but I'm pretty sure it's "corn hole game" and not "court whole game".
But really what's the point of even discussing these lyrics?

The Farm are back with new music for the first time since early 2013. They will debut their new single "Mud" on The Highway on September 22nd. It's unclear if they have a label or promotional team to get this played on terrestrial radio, but if that word comes I most certainly will love to get a thread started. ;) They had two singles. "Home Sweet Home" in 2012 which peaked at #18 on MB and #19 on Billboard, and "Be Grateful" in late 2012/early 2013 which peaked at #37 on both MB and Billboard.
