I think Little Red Wagon would be a big hit digitally and most likely with the music video too. It would also probably stream well. As for how radio will take it, ya never know these days. They were fine with Burnin' It Down and Country Girl (Shake It For Me), but not okay with Follow Your Arrow and Donkey. I personally think it's the best song on the album besides maybe Automatic. It's the type of song that can move album sales, and also would be a different type of offering for her. I don't think there are really any safe, guaranteed songs on the album except for Another Sunday In The South, but I don't think that song has the big hit potential that Little Red Wagon does.

I personally hate Little Red Wagon. Its my most hated song on the album. Cept for Two Rings Shy because of the production. but, the song itself is great. I can't stand Little Red Wagon one bit. Oh well what do i care i don't listen to radio anyway too much s**tty bro/rock/pop songs being played for me to keep my sanity.

^ I don't know if releasing Little Red Wagon as the third song would be a good choice. I mean its definently a rocker but so was Somethin Bad i wonder if maybe releasing a more um..."calm" choice would be better(especially for fall/winter) and then going with LRW in like the spring or something. I have to wonder how many singles will come from this album,,after listening through again there is like nothing thats really radio friendly, i guess Platinum or if they wanted to take a risk on something maybe Holding On To You. Either way i hope she can get something from this album to #1 since her and Carrie are all thats left of the females(the ones that can score hits anyway)

I love Little Red Wagon's sass, but I don't want it to be a single...I agree, it's too polarizing for radio, and I don't think releasing it after "Something Bad" would be good for Miranda. There are a lot of people who didn't like Something Bad for it's production (myself included), and Little Red Wagon is just a bit too similar, it might end up hurting her in the long run. I think something softer like "Babies Makin' Babies" or my personal favorite "Another Sunday in the South" would be a great choice.

This could be anything, but I thought it was worth mentioning here, since we know Alan has been working on a new album.

I really hope it's a new single!

It's not a new single (at least not yet). Alan Jackson will be having his 25th anniversary Keepin' It Country Tour with special guest Jon Pardi and Brandy Clark. The tour will start on January 8th, 2015 in Fort Myers, Florida and conclude in Denver, Colorado on May 17th, 2015. People.com says there will be a new album released early 2015 so I suspect we'll get a new single very shortly from Alan. How well it does is another story but this is great news. Source

James Otto will be releasing a new single which will be premiered on The Highway called "Somewhere Tonight" next week. He also signed with talent company The Agency. James doesn't really have a label right now so I expect this to be a Sirius/XM only song for now. Source"Somewhere Tonight" is available for purchase on iTunes now. Wow is this different. It barely sounds like James (especially in the chorus). Sonically it's sounds pretty good for being a different sound, but I don't quite know how I feel about it yet. Production is overdone to me as well. The label says Ottopilot Records, so I'm assuming that's James' own label and this is a self-release.

Looks like Dylan Scott has a new single coming out on November 3 according to an ad in today's Country Aircheck. The ad just says "Dylan Scott 11/3".
I'm super glad that "Mmm, Mmm, Mmm" never did anything.

(Literally, the production is right in line with their material, similar to Chris Lane.)

Brantley Gilbert's next one is "One Hell of an Amen." It was announced via a PR piece for the song's co-writer Brian Davis.

Haven't found any confirmation that it's a single yet, but Rascal Flatts' "Riot" picked up 1 add this week.

I figured they'd go with "DJ Tonight" But I think "Riot" is very similar.

Sony Music Christmas Sampler - does anyone knows if these songs are being aired on radio yet? I've been dying to hear sara evans and the henningsens songs :) They were made available to radio on October 28th, but most stations aren't going to start playing Christmas music until after Thanksgiving. And even then, each individual song doesn't get a ton of airplay until the actual week of Christmas...so unless you keep your ears glued to the radio almost non-stop, the likelihood of you hearing any of these songs on the radio anytime soon is not very high. I imagine that they'll make their way to YouTube or the artists' Facebook pages soon enough, though.

Ashley Monroe is performing with Blake Shelton at the CMAs so "Lonely Tonight" is pretty much going to be his next single.

I cannot wait to hear that song all over the radio. The song is great. Her part is much like Taylor's part was on "Highway Don't Care" for Tim McGraw, at least the way that she's used in the song. It's a cool way to have a 'featuring' spot more than just harmonies or a full duet.

I cannot wait to hear that song all over the radio. EXACTLY my reaction. It will be so great to see Ashley Monroe in the top 10 on country radio. And my reaction to this gets the exact opposite. I'm not a big fan of their new album (which is saying a lot because I love LBT), but regardless, this is not a good choice for an artist with a shaky track record with country radio. Something more radio friendly would be nice so as to not ruin the momentum for the album. I'm not particularly a fan of "Girl Crush", but either way, its a risky choice for Country radio, which I don't think LBT should take.

Interesting. Didn't see that one coming, although I can't complain because it's a beautiful song. It may not be the safest choice for a single, but who knows. I thought for sure "Priscilla", "Another Sunday in the South", or "Little Red Wagon" would be released. Thank goodness it isn't the latter.

Not sure if this is "single" news or not, but Love and Theft updated their cover photo on Facebook. It says "Whiskey On My Breath" Coming Soon. They also posted back on 10/28 that they were taking photos for their new album art.
So it seems like they are moving ahead with their album despite parting ways with RCA. They'll likely release the record independently unless they are already working toward signing with a new label.
