Has anyone heard anything from Eli Young Band and whether they're continuing with the 10,000 Towns era or not? I really hope they can try another single at the top of the New Year, preferably the title track or "A Lot Like Love". They filmed a video a week or two ago for Prayer for the Road, but I haven't heard if they're releasing anything. |

Don't know when Atlantic/WAR will launch Michael Ray but his song "Kiss You In The Morning" got one add this week. Again, doesn't mean that will be the debut single but something to keep an eye on.

I saw that and wondered the same thing. Also... most folks probably know Criag Wayne Boyd won "The Voice" last night. He's been around Nashville for quite a while...used to front a band called Southland before branching out on his own the last few years. |

Is this getting sent to country radio??? Doesn't seem like the right place for this song IMO. Can't say as I do not keep up with Kid Rock. If it is his next single, with confirmation, someone should make a thread for it. |

I can't find any confirmation that "First Kiss" is going to country radio yet, but the notion seems pretty likely based on the press I've seen about the album being his countriest effort to date. The single itself sounds like something that would fit several genres as potentially his best bet at a multi-format crossover hit since "All Summer Long." At any rate, I'm not all that familiar w/ Kid Rock, but I absolutely love this song on first listen.

I have to wonder if "hang loose" is the name of a new song or just something this guy was saying. Either way, we're getting new Kip Moore music so i'm happy. Have to wonder about that latest surprise EP if THOSE songs will make the album.....oh well guess we'll find out :)

Have to wonder about that latest surprise EP if THOSE songs will make the album.....oh well guess we'll find out :) I wonder if it's possibly "Hang A While" from his live Soundcheck EP? The last line in the first verse is "Ain't nothin' like the freedom of being loose", and the last line in the chorus is "won't you hang a while". I hope it's a different song though. "Hang A While" isn't too bad, but it was by far my least favorite song on the EP. "Come And Get It" and "Heart's Desire" were much stronger songs, in my opinion. In all likelihood, if #hangloose is referring to a song, then it's probably a brand new song. It's definitely been too long without Kip in the top 10. I was glad to see that his fan-base voted him as the Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the ACC Awards in December...definitely an impressive feat, considering that Kip was up against Brett Eldredge, Tyler Farr, Thomas Rhett, and Cole Swindell, and all of those artists have been more popular at radio over the last 12-18 months. I feel like when Kip was 'hot' with "Somethin' 'Bout A Truck", "Beer Money", and "Hey Pretty Girl", he was even bigger than Eldredge, Rhett, and Swindell currently are. I definitely can't wait for some new Kip music! |

I agree with you jhomes87 I don't see Hang A While being the song to rejuvinate Kip's career. I feel like if Come and Get It was shortened by a minute then it could launch Kip back into top 10/5 territory. And Kip definently was bigger than Cole,Brett, and Thomas in his day, and he was DEFINENTLY bigger than Tyler. He had his truck song out before it was cool to have truck songs lol. He also has a loyal fanbase and an album that was critically lauded seemingly everywhere. If it is a new song though then we would have Young Love, Dirt Road, Heart's Desire,Lipstick,Come And Get It, Hang A While, plus that new song. At 7 *potential* songs, we've already (probably) heard over half the album lol. Whatever Kip does i hope it works out in the end |

Hunter should release "Light Me Up" in the USA. That song is more radio friendly than anything on his new album.
I'm so upset Hunter has so many potential radio hits that was wasted on the re-release, while the 2nd album is full of radio flops. Totally wasted opportunity!!
