I had a conversation this afternoon with someone at WYRK and they said to expect a Thompson Square lead single to be released in a few weeks. Could this be the teaser photo for new Thompson Square as it is shown if you receive an email from Country Aircheck Weekly!! I'm sure it is then. :) I know they have finished recording new music (or at least close to it) and my contact at WYRK got the info from them at CRS.

Luke's new single is Games as far as I can tell. They have not announced a new single. "Games" charting on Billboard really isn't a surprise...Luke is red hot right now, and with "I See You" having gone recurrent, it's not a surprise that some radio stations are looking to the new Spring Break project and playing the tracks off of that. I think a song like "Games" would be another big hit at country radio, and I wouldn't put it past Capitol to actually release it as a single. However, with that said, I don't expect that "Games" or any of the other spring break songs will get released to radio. I expect Luke to premiere his next single (the lead-off to his next album) at the ACM Awards next month. That way there will be a nice little 5-6 week gap between singles for him, and it'll really build up the anticipation from radio and the fans.

Luke's new single is Games as far as I can tell. They've never officially released a single from the Spring Break projects to radio and while they DID have "Spring Breakdown" as an "emphasis track," it's not really an actual single nor is "Games." So gardyfan, I'd follow what jhomes87 is saying here. I expect him to debut his next single at the ACM Awards. It makes all the sense in the world to.

I wasn't going by the fact it was on Billboard chart, as I just saw that a few minutes ago. It is in heavy rotation at all three stations I get here in Minneapolis.

I wasn't going by the fact it was on Billboard chart, as I just saw that a few minutes ago. It is in heavy rotation at all three stations I get here in Minneapolis. Those stations are just playing it because they can. As I said, with "I See You" done now and off the chart, it's not really a surprise that some radio stations are playing "Games" and the other new tracks...this is Luke Bryan we're talking about after all. He's red hot and radio is chomping at the bit to play any new music from him. Luke's gonna want his next album out during the summer though, to coincide with his Kick The Dust Up Tour. That means the first single will probably be debuted at the ACM's (which Luke of course co-hosts). It makes a TON of sense for them to world premiere a brand new song there. In the meantime, I would not be surprised if several stations continue playing "Games" or a couple of the other new tunes just so they can give their listeners some new Luke Bryan material. I've heard "Games" on the radio a few times myself, with most of the spins on syndicated overnight shows (The Big Time with Whitney Allen).

Yeah i understand all of that. Just insane how much it is getting played. None of the other songs from it are getting played at all here.
On the flip side of Luke, I've heard Mickey Guyton twice ever on these stations. Frustrates me when I don't hear songs I like that are singles, especially when two of these stations will wait until top 30 or even 20 for some of them. And that even goes for a lot of establish artist, like Joe Nichols for example.

Like I mentioned before, this is Thompson Square's ad. They have officially confirmed it via their facebook page. Hopefully we get the single title next week, maybe the week after.

The same source that told me about Thompson Square's upcoming single (now confirmed), says Craig Campbell's first Red Bow single should be released to radio any week now. Most likely add date in April. :)

is a list coming out for the weekly adds today? The list was out last night. You can view a full list of adds on All Access ( here). If you don't belong to All Access, I'm sure jhomes87 will get a convenient post up soon. :) Jana Kramer got zero adds this week if you're wondering.

I just noticed that on March 10th, somebody tweeted Terri Clark asking, "Is 'I Cheated On You' still going to be released as a single, and if so, do you know when it goes for airplay? #somesongs" Terri responded, "Yes, in april".
If that is true, that would make me SO HAPPY! It is probably my favorite song on her new album! It is a perfect blend of radio-friendly and cleverly-written!

It'll be a single in Canada and Canada only (except for Cumulus stations -- they employ her on their morning program -- and some secondary markets). Her days as a major market USA hit maker are (sadly) long over.

^^ Oh yes, I have long since come to terms with that. But I still follow her career and am excited to see her maintaining her relevance and releasing great music, even if it sadly cannot be here.
Fortunately her singles can still get the airplay they deserve on my iPod here in America :)

Fortunately her singles can still get the airplay they deserve on my iPod here in America :) It's too bad that she's done in the US, but she had a good run while it lasted. I actually think that her material now is stronger than it was during her peak. Her last two original albums are great, and her single choices this time around have been fantastic. "Some Songs", "Longer" and "I Cheated On You" is as strong a trio of singles as she's ever had.

But the adds get released by Country Aircheck every Monday afternoon (should happen within the next hour or two at most). If you are a CA subscriber (it's free), they will email the adds report to you every Monday afternoon.

Thomas Rhett tweeted that "Crash And Burn" will be available on iTunes a week from today. I don't think there's been any official confirmation that this will be his lead single, but there's probably about a 99% chance that it will be.
