We shall see exactly what they have in store for her. I would not be surprised if she tours most of 2013 and even goes back to the UK and other international areas.

Also, I have reason to believe "Do You Think About Me" is the next single. The guy I talked to didn't say anything specific but it's just a hunch of mine because of the way he reacted when I mentioned the song the other night. He did say the next single has already been chosen though and we will find out the next single "sooner than later". I also heard a rumor that DYTAM will be performed on Glee this fall. Don't know the original source of this rumor, but it would make that song being a single make even more sense.

One of the Glee cast (Chord Overstreet) tweeted that it's one of his favorite songs, but I don't think that means it will be on the show. I hope DYTAM is the next single though, good change of pace from the first two singles and more relatable/singalongable than most of her material.

DYTAM would make sense for Rachel to sing based on the spoilers for this season that I've read. I hope it's true! I wouldn't mind for Glee to do some more Carrie songs as long as they don't ruin them like Kristen Chenoweth did on "Last Name"

Gangnam Style and Ronan both entered the top tier of iTunes all-genre songs, so Blown Away dropped 2 spots to #15. However, judging by sales bars, Carrie's got a spacious gap between the #14 and #16 songs, so once all of the VMA hype dies down and the promoted songs fall back out of the Top 10 ( Girl On Fire won't last long, and Blow Me (One Last Kiss) is already falling again), Carrie should be able to rebound. She's been keeping sales that are consistent enough to solidify her place in the Top 20. I just really want BA to crack the Top 10! we will find out the next single "sooner than later" In Carrie terminology, " sooner than later" = later than sooner.

Wow, I am very impressed and happy about how well this album is selling. I would also love it if all the singles went #1!

I have some good news about Carrie that I found out from the Marketing Department at Arista Nashville just today. * There is a partnership with Sony NY. Arista's goal for this record is to bring Carrie to a whole new level and they realize her crossover potential, but also realize that she's a country artist first and foremost. So there will be active crossover promotion on this album, probably not to the extent we all want, but Carrie will be promoted on multiple formats.* "Blown Away" is still eligible for CMA Album of the Year next year. Since BA was released later in the nomination cycle, more attention goes to albums that have had multiple hits and multiple weeks of steady sales for the AOTY category. However, by this time next year they will have released 4 singles, all of which hopefully will be #1 hits, and since the album is already platinum, the sales by this time next year will be even more impressive. These feats will help the voters give reason to nominate her, and hopefully give her the award. So Arista/Sony didn't just want a nomination this year, they want her to win next year and they realize that it was unlikely for that to happen this year since the album is so young. Next year she will have some accomplishments to throw in there to gain voters for her. So next year, we should be talking about how Carrie has six CMA nominations for Single, Song, Video, Album, Female, and Entertainer ;)
So don't worry folks, Sony's got their plans for Carrie under control. I hope what you say will come true, or i will be '' F**k , they snubbed Carrie again!!! ''

Niiiiice... they should follow the example of the iTunes sales and do it on other big retailers, specially Amazon, Best Buy, Target and such to keep sales high...

Carrie should garner her seventh week at #1 on the Country Albums chart this week, too! Judging by the looks of it, I don't think any other album could top her streak, especially if she's able to extend it beyond 7. Taylor's album doesn't release until the end of October, and Billboard stops its charts 2 weeks before the end of the year, so the most she'd be able to achieve would be 6 (which I'm sure she easily will). Carrie could tally the most weeks at #1 for an album for all of 2012, which is something she hasn't done since -- what, 2006? 2007? with Some Hearts!

I'm really impressed with the sales of BA, especially considering it has yet to even go through holiday sales. 2x platinum doesn't seem totally out of the realm of possibilities anymore. It's already platinum on the strength of two singles (one of which has several more weeks to go before it peaks on country, and which hasn't even begun its climb on other formats like HAC), and there will be at least two more singles. If they choose the singles right, continue promoting and stocking the album properly, and it gets a nice holiday sales boost, I could see it easily outselling PO eventually.

Carrie could tally the most weeks at #1 for an album for all of 2012, which is something she hasn't done since -- what, 2006? 2007? with Some Hearts! Nice observation. Taylor could very well do that... Then again, the Holiday season is pretty stacked this year. She'll certainly debut at #1, and post multiple weeks... But there's a chance, a slight one, that someone at some point could disrupt her run at #1. For one, Scotty McCreery and Blake Shelton have Christmas albums coming out. Usually one Holiday album dominates; i.e. last year Michael Buble, two years ago SuBo, and three years ago Josh Groban. This year, I think it'll be Scotty or Blake to hold that domination, both of whom are Country artists. I could very well see one of them, or both, outselling Taylor in the two to three weeks before Christmas. If this were to happen, that would decrease Taylor's weeks at #1 in 2012. With that said, we are talking about Taylor Swift, who is simply a sales beast... Nevertheless, as you pointed out, it looks like Carrie will have posted the most weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, something she's only done once before!

I'm kind of torn with what I want the next single to be. On the one hand, I think DYTAM is pretty much a perfect choice (it's a great song, well-written, well-sung, catchy, more country than GG and BA, and would be a nice light break from the darkness of BA). On the other hand, I think TBC might help keep the album selling better, keep people talking more, and is arguably the best song on the album. However, it would make two dark songs in a row, and I remember an interview Carrie did in London where she said she didn't want people to think the album was all dark. So they may save TBC for the fourth or fifth single. Hopefully DYTAM will be a hit and an album-seller also, though, to keep up the momentum that the BA single is giving the album.

I believe "Do You Think About Me" will do really well if released next. "Blown Away" will more than likely be garnering a lot of recurrent airplay so that would not affect the airplay on "Do You Think About Me" as much due to it being a song that is pretty much a polar opposite. Going from "Good Girl" to "Blown Away" to "Two Black Cadillacs" is just an earful. A good one, nonetheless. But that's a hefty plate of food to take in. "Do You Think about Me" is so much lighter. It's simply just infectiously good writing with a perfect, understated vocal that is easy to sing along with. No way it isn't another #1 and a hit song for her (critics, sales, etc.) if it is released next.

Based on the current prediction of "Blown Away" being #4 on the BB200, it looks like Hits underestimated its sales as they projected "Blown Away" to place between 6 and 10. With that said, "Blown Away" could very well sell near 50k this week!

music-mix.ew.com/2012/09/06/cma-awards-2012-snubs-and-surprises/Ouch!! I don't agree on the EOTY snub in this era, but she could have Been nominated during in at least 3-4 other years. Now, album, that was a total snub. Especially when its just been certified platinum------in it's 5th month of being released. I'm thinking this album will produce easily 4 number ones with a good shot at five. Does it deserve at least a nod, you're damn right she does.

Good in Goodbye is quickly turning into my favorite song on the album, which is weird because it was the one I always skipped at first. So well written. And I also still believe that Do You Think About Me should be the next single.

Good In Goodbye is my fav as well... and at first I didn't notice it... I couldn't remember the track until I paid attention to the lyrics... after that, the song went straight to my #1 track... can never get over how fantastic it is... it def trumps all over DYTAM, imo... deserved being 3rd single with a touching video... am I the only one who finds DYTAM too repetitive??

Carrie rarely releases mid tempo songs and with DYTAM being mid tempo and upbeat, I could see it being very successful on radio as it is something they do not hear from her that often

This is so beautiful, wow. I would love to have her record an album more traditional someday, even though I know it doesn't really sell that well or getting played by radio today. Oh well, maybe someday in the future she will.

The marketing/promo guy at Arista told me it was still eligible next year. I'm pretty sure he would know the eligibility of his biggest artist for one of the biggest categories. I highly doubt he would tell me otherwise if it weren't true.
