I'm looking forward to her the song she wrote with Neyo.
About the Opry, i read on twitter that care bears weren't so pleased with the background singer. why was it??

I'm looking forward to her the song she wrote with Neyo. About the Opry, i read on twitter that care bears weren't so pleased with the background singer. why was it?? Like Maddkatt said, the problem was mostly the sound mixing, not her (for the most part). Her volume was way too loud - at some points she almost sounded louder than Carrie. Hopefully they get the sound mixing right for the Grammys. I'm a little worried about that - Carrie's mic always seems to be set too low in comparison to the band during TV performances.

It will get better as they sing together more. third time really, she filled in for Jaime on one of the BA tour dates and sang bgv with Jaime at the AMAs.But yeah, she'll get better with time.:)

I'll give her the benefit of the doubt, for now, as the Opry stream isn't always the greatest anyways. I heard everything sounded great in person. :)

It is irreverent and blasphemous. I can't imagine Carrie and many, many others appreciating anything like this.

Any word as to what Carrie will be singing ? Assuming it is a solo, do y'all think it will be 'Blown Away' since it received two nominations or 'Cadillacs' since it is her current single ?

If it's a solo, I'm almost positive it will be "Blown Away". The only other times Carrie has performed her own song at the Grammy's, she's performed her nominated song even though she had a different current single at the time. I'm really hoping Carrie gets her own solo spot, rather than part of a medley/tribute.

Firstly, I'm sure it's a solo spot. There probably would have already been some sort of announcement if she were to be performing as a part of a tribute. Secondly, I'm betting that she'll perform BA, but I'm hoping for some sort of BA/TBC mashup so that way she can perform the song she's nominated for and still promote TBC since its sales have been pretty slow and it's still moving up on the Country chart. thank you all for the info :) Does anyone have the link to the performance? maybe Youtube? i didn't stream it :( I agree with carrieidol1, Carrie looks soooooooooo gorgeous in yellow. anyway, found this on cf.com I would like to believe that whoever put that picture up did so out of ignorance rather than malicious intent. WOW!! That is beautiful. The heading at the side 'Grammy's Best New Artists' is quite misleading though.

It doesn't have the same pop appeal as Blown Away and hasn't had the same amount of high profile tv performances. It's also the third single. I don't really see how TBC has any less pop appeal than Blown Away, to be honest. I think "BA" has a more accessible melody. "TBC" is darker/lower in its vocal delivery, especially on the chorus. And didn't "BA" have more high profile performances?

If Carrie performs TBC on the Grammys, there isn't a bigger platform! It'll really explode after that!

I believe that the person who made that (who obviously not me) didn't intend to insult anyone. So did i when i posted it here. so if i offend you, i apologize. About Grammy, i hope she will perform BLOWN AWAY with huge effect , like wind - rain, etc.

Carrie tweeted tonight that she's landed in LA. Rehearsals this early? Or perhaps she has other press or meetings to attend in LA before the Grammys.

Rehearsals surely start today or tomorrow. I mean, the Grammys are 5 days away including today. She may be doing Clive Davis' event, too.

"Julie Andrews expressed her interest in meeting country superstar Carrie Underwood, who will take on the nun-turned-nanny in the musical. 'I don’t know her, and I would love to know her,' Andrews said of the Grammy winner. 'And maybe I will.'" -Julie Andrews addressing Carrie's participation in TSOM this December. Read more here.

I hope Carrie Underwood performs Two Black Cadillacs at the Grammys. It will be a boost for the single and the CD!

I would love to see 2BC sales rise but I would rather Carrie give a once in a lifetime over the top amazing performance of BA that cements it as a career record. Sometimes I see Carrie referred to as "the Jesus, Takes the Wheel singer" or "the Before He Cheats singer". I would like it to now be "the Blown Away singer". This is coming from someone who is a huge fan of 2BC and actually thought it would be a career record as well. jmho as always. (I personally think Carrie doesn't need to be described by one song since she has had so many hits and won so many awards but since it does happen I would like it to be updated and have Blown Away acknowledged for what it is - a career record.)
