I'm kinda hoping for this, too; not expecting, just hoping. She could easily do a more acoustic/country version of something like "See You Again." I was thinking she might do "Cupid" with Brad, but will he be there since he isn't nominated? He might still perform since he will probably have an album out then. His album comes out April 9, two days after the ACMs. I think a performance slot for him (and The Band Perry, whose album comes out 5 days before the show) is pretty much guaranteed. However, I'd imagine he'll do his current single to promote it, not "Cupid" with Carrie. I would love for Carrie to do an album track at the ACMs, though. If "One Way Ticket" is indeed the next single, April seems a bit early to debut a performance of it. It'd be a better song for the CMT Awards. The ACMs would be a great way to show off an album track from Blown Away that will not be a single.I agree, but i really really really hope she won't perform Thank God For Hometowns. IMO She'll probably perform Two Black Cadillacs at the ACMs. At that time around, TBC has probably reached its peak (#1 of course) and it will bump the sales so the single will stay longer on the BB100.

I agree, a TBC performance is probably most likely, especially since both of its award show performances so far have been on all-genre shows. Carrie almost always does at least one performance of her singles on a country show. However, it would be great for her to pull a surprise out of her sleeve and do something a little different.

Watching TBC video back and Carrie really scares me haha. I think she could really play a dark role in a film similar to Glenn Close in "Fatal Attraction" or Ali Larter in "Obsessed". I hope she does pursue more acting because I think she'd kill in a role like that!!

The ACMs would be a great way to show off an album track from Blown Away that will not be a single. I didn't mean that he'd perform with Carrie in lieu of his own performance, just that if he'd already be there he could join her for a performance of the song. That was also based on thinking she might be in between singles and perform a random track. So, all speculation and obviously nothing likely to happen.

Perhaps Carrie will perform a tribute to Mindy McCready?

Perhaps Carrie will perform a tribute to Mindy McCready? If she does, then she better get two performance slots.

Carrie performed at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville tonight. She sang "Good Girl," "Wine After Whiskey," "Two Black Cadillacs," "Jesus Take the Wheel," and "So Small."
Not sure if it means anything, but "Wine After Whiskey" was the only non-single she performed. Could she have been testing it out on the radio folks there?
Edit: According to @nashvillebecca, she also sang "Pontoon".

Is that the first time she's performed "Wine After Whiskey"? It would make a good single, imo.

As much as I hope this is an indication of "Wine After Whiskey" being considered as a single, I wouldn't look too much into it. This is a songwriting round sort of performance, and notice how the other songs (minus "Pontoon" which is written by Luke Laird, who is also there) she performed, she had a hand in writing them. This is probably why she didn't perform "Blown Away". She was probably just trying to showcase her hand in writing a traditional ballad. With that said though, I hope there is more to it (single #5 or #6 please).

Alright, double-posting but whatever. First round of boxscores came in for the second leg of the tour, and they're all sell-outs.
Carrie Underwood, Hunter Hayes Feb. 21, 2013: Spokane, Wash.; Spokane Arena; 9,914 of 9,914 (SOLD-OUT): $563,349 Feb. 19, 2013: Billings, Mont.; Rimrock Auto Arena at MetraPark; 7,711 of 7,711 (SOLD-OUT): $437,939 Feb. 17, 2013: Boise, Idaho; Taco Bell Arena; 7,254 of 7,254 (SOLD-OUT): $421,569 Feb. 13, 2013: Colorado Springs, Colo.; World Arena; 6,263 of 6,263 (SOLD-OUT): $387,748 Feb. 22, 2013: Yakima, Wash.; Yakima Valley SunDome; 6,719 of 6,719 (SOLD-OUT): $384,497 Feb. 14, 2013: Broomfield, Colo.; 1st Bank Center; 5,525 of 5,525 (SOLD-OUT): $341,970
Edit: Also, Ellen Degeneres made a "Jesus, Take the Wheel" joke during her opening monologue on her show today.

Although the attendance capacity of theses first concerts aren't as high as the first leg, I would assume they all sold out because of great reviews and good word-of-mouth from the shows last year!! Hope attendance continues to sell out those arenas!! =)

Hope attendance continues to sell out those arenas!! =) I wouldn't be worried. Same thing happened with the Play On Tour (sellouts, but smaller capacity rates), and if I recall correctly, the PO Tour opened up once-curtained off sections of arenas. Plus, I'm not so sure that boxscores are always 100% accurate. Judging by videos posted on YouTube, it's clear that she was playing to more than 5k-6k audiences. A couple prime examples of that from her Play On Tour were the Hollywood Bowl show in California and her St. Pete's Time Forum show in Florida. The Florida show registered at around 6k-7k in attendance on the boxscore, but if you YouTube search a video of her on the flying pick-up truck there, even the nosebleeds in the top of the rafters were filled to the back. With the Hollywood Bowl, even signs were posted at the venue the night of the concert that it was 100% sold out, but the boxscore came back with a 98% capacity rating. Obviously that's still amazing, but Billboard's gone wacko these past few years, so I wouldn't be surprised if these numbers were very preliminary and there were many more in attendance than reported.

You can't judge by how many people "appear" to be attendance because there's something called "papering the house" where a lot of free tickets are given out that aren't paid for to make the venue look fuller and comp regular patrons of the venue.
