SELENA GOMEZ & THE SCENE: Love You Like A Love Song: 57.562 (+ 0.673)
Could this actually go top 20 on Hot 100? Not so far away. 30 weeks on chart and still rising.

I'm glad "Domino" is shaping up to be a big hit, yes it could be a Katy song, but one of the better ones. Top form Max Martin/Dr. Luke never goes wrong.

I don't know why people think that Domino sounds like a Katy's song. Jessie J has her vocal style and her way of singing, and don't needs to be confounded with Katy. And I think it'll be a big hit, too. Nothing against your comment, it's only because it was the latest of several others on this subject. :)

Adele is 84.4% right now, while Rihanna is 59%. That means, if Adele sells 180k this week, Rihanna would sell 126k. That would be a 54k gap.

I certainly agree that there is a significant gap between the vocal prowess of the two artists, but that doesn't make the statement any less true. Not to mention Domino is certainly not the best of the Jessie J vocals that I have heard (good nonetheless) and I can easily imagine Perry singing this instead. And the comparisons make sense because the producer of this is responsible or partially responsible for almost all of Katy's hit catalogue. I do agree that Domino sounds like a hit (and is a hit, in fact) and she seems to be picking up well deserved momentum in the United States. Price Tag actually fared quite well on Canadian radio so I'll be following her over here as well. :)

Looks like will.i.am's much-hyped release may have reached the end of the road.
It's hemorrhaging audience at the Rhythmic format, and even a Z100 add on Mainstream Top 40 has failed to accelerate the single there.
Between that, the video already having been released for a while and numerous high-profiled promotional performances, I think it's nearly safe to say the gig is up on "T.H.E."............and it needs to go home.

Will.i.am on his own, or at least as a lead artist, seems incapable of having a hit. So odd considering how BEP is practically invincible and Fergie did so well on her own.

I'm shocked myself this single has never achieved lift-off. I figured Mick Jagger's hype alone would elevate the track. And given will.i.am is even more a businessman than he is a producer and artist, you'd figure he could basically buy himself a hit if he wanted. But hey, no need to fear, will.i.am! Pitbull is here to save the day on its follow-up! He always saves singl............well, if you don't count Timbaland and Shakira's releases, anyway! ;) Namaste, lisping HIBISCUS

I certainly agree that there is a significant gap between the vocal prowess of the two artists, but that doesn't make the statement any less true. They both scream and sound very hit and miss live. Can't really tell which one of those two is the better. youtu.be/RqIaAav3P9Q (JJ) youtu.be/VlQXCU21dCM (KP)

such Katy shade. She's more relatable, and that pushes singles and albums. Her videos are infinitely better, also.

Roger that...the whole reason Fergie also had a successful solo run...hope she comes back solo again.

SFTTR now trails WFL by 48.5m in Quick-Cut airplay. The BDS gap for the latest chart was 58 million (when the Mediabase Quick-Cut gap was 54.9m). Looks like it may be another close race. "Good Feeling" should remain at No. 3, I'd think, as those two singles jockey for position. And 'Turn Me On" should advance further in its efforts to reach the top.

There's a chance Kelly could enter the top 10 this week. Her sales are definitely high enough, but it's her airplay that could keep her from doing so. I'd say anywhere from 9-13 is where she'll land.

I'd say Kelly's a dead cert for top ten next week. She's been #3 all week (aside from when that Glee song momentarily jumped in front, which has no airplay anyway) and with airplay rocketing at the rate it is, maybe she's looking at a #8/9 position

And your post is irrelevant to what he had to say about her live abilities, not commercial success in which we all know Katy wins by a longshot. ;) Enigma.: I personally thought Jessie J sounded decent despite her oversinging, and Katy sounds better than she usually does in that performance. :)

Kelly is a shoe in for Top 10. It's not a matter of if it will hit the Top 10 but where at in the Top 10 it will be.
