Has RHI actually gone for adds? If not, a +1m update on its own is pretty impressive.

Fun. is selling an insane amount. I wonder if they could get to #2 this week. I'm not sure they're selling enough over Kelly to get to #1 this week, but maybe next week since Kelly's song is starting to drop a bit. But then she has her first appearance on The Voice March 5, so she might see a bump. I'd love for Kelly to stay on top another week or two, but "We Are Young" is a great song deserving of #1, as well.
I don't think it'll have a problem getting there, though, even if it has to wait a few weeks. I think it'll be one of the biggest songs of the year fairly easily.

Has RHI actually gone for adds? If not, a +1m update on its own is pretty impressive. I haven't seen a specific date, but adds on CHR, AC, HAC, and AAA are set for "mid-March." (the 13th? the 20th?) But yeah, it's doing incredibly all on its own already. I still don't think it'll hit #1 but it seems determined to prove me wrong.

I'm really surprised by how "Take Care's" progress has stalled on iTunes. Aside from the week the album was released - and granted the video hasn't premiered yet - it's barely spent any time in the top 20 on iTunes despite strong radio play and two very commercial artists.

People have been complaining that the airplay for "We Are Young" is lagging. I have a feeling you're all gonna wish it was lagging come May-June.

We all wish it would have gotten started on radio just a little earlier, but these updates are excellent and it will be the big hit it deserves to be. I've loved the song since September and I don't see the eventual radio overkill ruining that for me.

"Rumor Has it" peaked at No. 1 on Triple A back in August, so will it be re-promoted to that format?

I love "We Are Young" even though Janelle's contribution to the song is even smaller than Christina's on "Moves Like Jagger".

^Does Janelle sing on the chorus? On the acoustic version, she does, and even sings a chorus by herself:

Doesn't she sing backing on the chorus and the bridge?

In the recorded version, you can't hear her that clearly until the bridge (which doesn't even last a minute, or barely reaches that mark). Though I'm presuming she co-wrote the song, so I'm not dismissing it by any great mark.
Her contribution in the song, is only slightly bigger than Mariah in Babyface's "Everytime I Close My Eyes".

Doesn't look like she as a writer credit on the track. Listening to the album version, it sounds like the make vocalist is singing solo.

Madonna, Far East Movement f. Justin Bieber To Debut On Hot 100
March 01, 2012 By Keith Caulfield, Los Angeles
New singles from Madonna and Far East Movement (featuring Justin Bieber) are headed for the Billboard Hot 100 chart next week. Madonna's "Girl Gone Wild" is scheduled to hit the iTunes Store today (March 1) while Far East Movement's "Live My Life" reached retail on Feb. 28.
The former is the second single from the diva's upcoming "MDNA" album -- out March 26. It follows lead track "Give Me All Your Luvin'," which peaked at No. 10 on the Hot 100. The Far East collabo with Bieber -- produced by RedOne -- is the first taste of the hip-hop act's upcoming second album.
It's too early to tell what Madonna's single might sell, but the Far East track could shift around 120,000 to 150,000 downloads by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, March 4.
fun.'s "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monae), looks like it will continue to be the U.S.' top-selling song, with industry sources suggesting it will shift around 270,000 to 300,000 downloads. Kelly Clarkson's current Hot 100 No. 1, "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," will likely sell another 200,000 to 240,000.
The Wanted's "Glad You Came" will continue to build, after its explosive sales this past week. It jumped from 101,000 to 188,000 (up 87% according to Nielsen SoundScan) after it was covered on the Feb. 21 "Glee." This week, it could move even more. It's aiming for around 200,000 to 220,000. Also, look for a few Monkees tunes to impact the Digital Songs chart next week, following the Feb. 29 death of the group's Davy Jones. It's too early to forecast what their songs will sell, but it's expected that its 1967 Hot 100 No. 1 hit "Daydream Believer" will be the act's biggest single of the week.
Billboard should do this all the time!

"Live My Life" has slipped to No. 3 on iTunes, slightly behind "Glad You Came."

I don't think WAY is going to quite get to #1. It looks like it has peaked in sales and might be starting to come down now. In addition, although it is now finally making gains at radio, I think it is happening too slowly and too late to help get it to the top. I'm sure after her appearance next week on The Voice, Kelly will see a bump that will probably keep her on top. I'd love to be wrong, but I don't think I am.

She didn't co-write the song. Nate Ruess (lead singer of fun.) wrote the song. The band knew they wanted a female vocalist on that part of the track, and they approached Janelle and asked her and she agreed to do it. She also got a cameo in the video.

Why are they releasing singles on Thursdays now? How would this benefit FEM or Madonna with only three days of sales?

Far East Movement was released earlier this week. Monday, I believe. Madonna, not sure why they would release on Thursday, or Friday again. It didn't work well last time, even with the huge promotion going along with it. A Monday release would definitely be best. But, given the fact that the song still isn't on iTunes, Billboard is looking to be wrong with that statement.

That's my thinking too. Would be pointless to send it again. I know my station still spins it about as often as they do "Rolling in the Deep" and I imagine most stations still have it in some form of rotation too. My guess is that they'll send "I'll Be Waiting" again since it showed signs of promise before "Set Fire to the Rain" crossed over from other formats and killed it.
