Calvin Harris' is a strange case....he has obvious commercial appeal as a solo act (writes/produces all his material so all the smashes he's giving other people could be his own, attractive, distinct voice, huge "cool factor" right now) and could have taken Feels So Close much higher with promotion, but he chooses to be another Guetta.

What's insane about PRA is that it has been out for over a year and hit it's peak about 10 months ago. The fact that it is STILL top 40 is insane. I know songs from the most recent Summer always get a boost in the following summer, but this is just nuts.

I also feel it never reached its full potential on radio either. As it seemingly struggled to reach its peak in the low 70 millions... it seemed to drop like a rock (huge 1 million drops a day) at a bizarrely fast pace. I don't know why it stalled so low, I thought it would at least make the top 10 in airplay.

I know it passed it on the BMA time-frame, but how close is it to passing it on the decade building chart? It seems it will at the very least tie RITD's 65 weeks, while also spending more of its run in the top 10.

I know songs from the most recent Summer always get a boost in the following summer, but this is just nuts. And the fact that it's close to summer now is only going to help it more as some radio stations put it back in heavy or semi-heavy rotation (at the very least, they're unlikely to play it less b/c it still fits their playlists so well). I haven't even been thinking about whether it will match RITD, I've been seriously wondering if it will have enough steam to break "I'm Yours"' record.

During the period of March 1, 2011 to March 1, 2012(the primary chart run for both) Party Rock Anthem already passed Rolling In the Deep (Party Rock Anthem got the Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 song)

Starships is 14 weeks in the top 10 and still going strong. Impressive. Even more 'impressive' is that all these weeks she's been in between #5-10. I imagine it could also be frustrating! Lol

Carrie's GOOD GIRL has to be her most consistent charting single to date beside BHC. Hoo-ray!

JANELLE MONAE – WE ARE YOUNG 158,675 // 163,165 // 4,560,107 As most of you have probably noticed, these are the digital TRACKS numbers. In total, We are Young is just a little higher, at 4,591,000, and STIUTK much higher: somewhere between 4,306,000 and 4,459,000 (probably on the low end of that range).

I just realized something, wouldn't Party Rock Anthem break the record for most weeks on the H100 for a #1 song if it passes Rolling in the Deep? Since I'm Yours and How Do I Live both missed the top spot.

Since I'm Yours and How Do I Live both missed the top spot. Everyone spam your radio stations to never play Party Rock Anthem again! And let's contact Apple and say it's a copyright infringement and get it pulled from iTunes.
