I know a lot of people don't count the Unplugged album but I do. It was a second release, at least. I think she'll make another baby before another album.

Love both of these albums from beginning to end and both were released over a decade ago. They were the only albums I could think of that fit that criteria.

I really hope something comes of Amel and Bryce's reunion because that shelves sophomore album with Makeda replacing Amel embarrassing. As for Remy, I was told a while ago that his acrimonious divorce put a stop to whatever comeback he was planning.

The first ones that come to mind are Jeff Buckley's Grace and the Sex Pistols' Never Mind The Bollocks, Here's The Sex Pistols.

I was going to put Grace, but I didn't know if his posthumous album disqualified him. lol

I was going to put Grace, but I didn't know if his posthumous album disqualified him. lol It does. I was referring to artists that dropped one album and then seemingly got fired from the industry. lol

They not only had a second album, but it scored a couple of hits too (two Top 15 R&B hits, one of which went Top 10 on the CHR/Pop chart).

Your original post reminded me that I used to love Ashley Parker Angel's album. I think I was the only one lol.

I LOVED the Wreckers! Jessica and Michelle sound absolutely heavenly together, too. I remember obsessing over their album for about 2 years; I loved it. I saw them open for Rascal Flatts in 2006 and they were so great; I'd love another album from them.

Ugh, I miss Michelle Branch. :'( Jessica Harp > But yeah, I miss them both. They made a flawless duo together, and I would love for them to reunite someday.

It always upset me that my favourite CD was never properly followed up. Instead, she formed Dragonette.

Yes and Yes! I enjoyed Back for More from Glenn as well and I'm hoping this new Canadian deal he has means we will eventually get a proper second album release from him. Playa just breaks my heart. :'(

Mona Lisa...Came out around the time Brandy, Monica, and Aaliyah were first blowing up. Sadly, she got lost in the mix

Julianne Hough, listed above, did release a Christmas album, and has a follow-up Wildfire, in the making.
Are The Wreckers the highest-selling artist listed here (besides Lauryn Hall, who may or may not count)?
