Phillip Phillips ... Top 10 debut? I don't know...he looks like he'll have high sales but streaming is a factor in the formula now. No Idol winner's song has gone Top 10 on the Hot 100 since 2008. Two others peaked at #11 since then. |

Kind of off topic, but not sure where to ask. Since Glee is moving to Thursdays, will the music still be released on Tuesdays? If so, it will be harder for the songs to chart higher as there will be less days of TV exposure.

I think Glee will be hit very hard by three factors in the future:
1) The buzz is gone
2) Streaming will hurt chart positions
3) Thursday episodes will lessen the number of sales days per chart week
We are already seeing the erosion of Glee's impact; No song reached the top 10 this season and this week (for example) the top Glee song failed to reach the Hot 100 at all.

Later on, P!nk clarified, saying that she and Katy are good friends. She just prefers artists to sing live. |

P!nk defended Katy in her tweet. There was nothing negative going on, unless there are more tweets i'm not aware of. The only one I know of was praising Katy was performing live and not lipsyncing, when others obviously were.

^Pink's husband specified that he was talking about Chris Brown 'ripping off' her BMX performance of "Raise The Glass". P!nk also clarified that she wasn't dissing Katy because she actually sang live, she was also bashing CHris.

There was a time when Chris Brown sang mostly everything live.
I remember being impressed by him even if there was a bum note here and there.
I would rather him dance a little less and sing more than fully lip and dance more.
I'm almost 35 though mabey it's an age thing.
