Gaga seems to want to make the music she wants and doesn't care if its commercial enough. Her aim is to make pop music everyone loves. She's said this many times. She's like the Andy Warhol of pop music. She wants it to be highly commercialized and wants everyone to love it. If that was the case then the BTW album shouldn't have ever been released.

I am sorry but BTW had many BIG pop hooks throughout. It was however darker and miss managed from the get go.
The comparisons to EYS, the shitty second single, the shitty third video... Had she picked right, it may not have out sold the Fame but I think it could have pushed 8-9M WW.

I'm surprised there's so much hate for BTW here. That album/era turned me into a fan/monster . I did not understand her at all before Edge of Glory. After that I pretty much became obsessed. Not to mention the fact that the era was much more than just music. She started a pop evolution with that record and seems to still be growing and preparing for the next era. I can't wait to see what she brings next go around.

I agree that BTW was more than just the music, even moreso than her first two albums, it mixed music with the visuals and even taking into account things like marketing and promotion, it was a huge event. I hope she does it again for the next album.

If she was making music just for people to enjoy than I cannot imagine BTW would be the product. I swear she deliberately tried to make every song on there that could be radio friendly not radio friendly (subject matter, foreign languages, etc). The most radio friendly songs on the cd were not released OR came tacked with obnoxiously impenetrable videos that few people watched. I loved the BTW era and disliked it at the same time as a Gaga fan ha ha. The most important part-the music-was there for me though. I genuinely enjoy that cd-I don't care how many people whine for The Fame. I would rather have another BTW over another Fame. A mixture of the two would be interesting though.

Here's a list from all leaked, released or songs that maybe will come on the next album (so far):
Cake (Like Lady Gaga):
Part of the song written in 2012 whit DJ White Shadow, the other part written by fans on Twitter.
Glitter and Grease:
Song from 2010, that was heard at her tour. In 2012 there are rumors it may will be released on the next album.
Nothing On (But The Radio):
Demo recorded in 2010. Song may will be released on the next album, but because she didn't wite it by herself I don't think it will.
Out Of Control:
Part of the song leaked in 2009. The song failed to reach The Fame album. Complete song leaked April 2012. Unknown if it will be on the next album and when it's recorded.
Princess Die:
Written in 2011. She debuted the song on June, 27 2012 at her Born This Way ball tour. It may will be on her next album.
? (ARTPOP):
Song played in Gaga's SUV. According to the fans it's her new lead single. Maybe ARTPOP.

Beyonce is reportedly doing the Super Bowl Halftime show on February 3 in New Orleans.
According to Ticketmaster, Lady Gaga is in St. Louis, MO on 2/2, Kansas City, MO on 2/4 and free on the 3rd.
Thoughts?

As in will Gaga be a guest? Doubt it, but I suppose it's a possibility.

'Nothin' On (But The Radio)' is one of my favorite Lady GaGa songs. I'd love a final version.

Thoughts? Beyonce sharing the spotlight with Lady Gaga at one of the biggest events in her career? Nope. The only reason Madonna pulled it off is because her special guests were below her on the legend totem pole.

I don't think she's worried about anyone outshining her. You can bet Jay will make an appearance, and bringing Gaga out for 1.5-2 minutes of "Telephone" would hardly be a bad look.

Beyonce bringing out Jay, Gaga, and potentially Kelly and Michelle for a mini DC reunion? Every online music message board and social network would just...explode in excitement. LAWD, the possibilites. I doubt it but I can dream.

She should release a buzz track during the holidays. I feel like people are more than ready for some new Gaga.

I would love for her to come out and blow everyone away. Pop music has been fairly basic lately.

i feel that Ke$ha is her main competition at this point, and a strong one at that.

I love the Billboard Brazil cover. It looks like GaGa is wowed into speechlessness at the sight of Madge's vadge.
