DEMI LOVATO - Give Your Heart A Break: 48.304 (+ 1.449)
I'm really impressed by the performance of this one. Demi Lovato may have some actual staying power on pop radio.

I think Carly will easily have a 3rd week at #1 with Katy moving 4-3 on this chart. Katy's best chance at #1 will probably be the week the movie is released.

I think "Wide Awake" could do a #2 peak, it will still be 60-70m A.I. behind Carly by the time the film comes out.

Rihanna is going to have to wait a LONG time to get into that Top 3.
CHERYL COLE - Call My Name: 0
Has she even released this in the US?

The airplay difference between "Call Me Maybe" and "Wide Awake" for this week's chart is 69 million (126m vs. 57m). So, yeah, the gap will be easier to overcome than what Mediabase indicates.

Where Have You Been is doing very poorly digitaly. Despite being the highest in airplay of all its main competition (Wide Awake, Lights, Titanium, Scream, and Back in Time), its doing the worst digitally. Its even in danger of being pushed out of the itunes top 10 by Jason Mraz.

Rihanna is still #10 digitaly but went in three hours from 43,75% to 40%. I think that it peaked digitaly, if this pattern continues.

You can't judge peaking by one pop bar change, especially since it's so un-detailed compared to before. If you go by one pop bar change, Payphone, Lights, and Wide Awake all peaked, too.

WHYB is the 5th single from the album, and Rihanna does not have the same digital pull as Katy. A nice Top 5 peak for the song is just fine with a nice long stay in the Hot 100 Top 10.

Yah- I wouldn't say WHYB is doing "poorly"- as mentioned, it's not a fresh, new single. And her digital success does look to be limited in terms of weekly peak sales. But in the long run, her tracks sell pretty well.

He's aware of that.
He's saying you shouldn't call it a "Billboard Official Digital Top 40" when that's not what it is.

And also, you don't use "a variety of sites." You use Kworb's site.

And it's not a "Top 40" with only the top 30 songs listed.
