Coldplay slays me with their ballads lately, which is weird because I vastly prefer uptempo songs. However, this was a huge hit, spending 4 weeks at #1, and spending a huge 40 weeks on the chart. It’s just so good and amazing, and the video is super cute. Everyone go watch and purchase the song, or better yet the full album, now. |

The Beats commercial for this was so good and got me hyped so bad for this song, and then the full song definitely did not disappoint. It’s a bit of a departure from Gaga’s normal, but she often excels while changing things up like this. I definitely wouldn’t mind more music along these lines from her. I definitely prefer her part to R. Kelly’s, but he does pretty well on it as well. This has the record for most weeks at #1 with 11 weeks, btw. :) |
