The new year has started, and so has the new format! I like doing 50 songs so much more! I actually completed this in just one day! I didn't mention last week, but I'm also going to bring back the weekly write up instead of the bullet notes. I'm starting an inverse point system where each position is given points opposite of their position (#50-1, #49-2...#1-50). When a song reaches 250 points, it will be elligible for recurrency. Otherwise, a dropout will be purged. These points will help calculate a true point-based year-end chart for 2013. Anyway, I'm all caught up now, so hopefully everything will run smoothly again :) January 6, 2013The Cab's "Endlessly" returns to #1. It is only the fourth song to ever do that, after smash hits "What Makes You Beautiful", "Give Your Heart a Break" and "As Long As You Love Me". Last week's #1, "Battle Scars" by Lupe Fiasco & Guy Sebastian, falls to #4. Chris Brown and Ed Sheeran each score their second Top 10 this week. Chris rises 12-6 with "Don't Judge Me". He previously hit #1 with "Turn Up the Music". Ed shoots up 25-10 with "Lego House", matching the peak of "The A Team", which drops 14-22 this week. One Direction's "Little Things" re-enters the Top 10 rising 13-9 this week. It has so far peaked at #6. Pitbull's "Feel This Moment" debuts at #30. Well technically, it rises 51-30 but the Bottom 50 doesn't exist anymore Although not officially a single yet, it has already reached the Top 50 on Pop, and is sure to be the next release. Situations such as these will allow non-singles to chart. Pitbull's current single, "Don't Stop the Party", rises 24-18 this week. The biggest gains this week (5+) go to "Lego House", "Swimming Pools (Drank)" (26-17), "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" (21-13), "Sweet Nothing" (28-20), "Don't Judge Me" and "Don't Stop the Party". Rihanna's "Diamonds" drops out from #34 this week, with a peak of #5. 02 01 THE CAB Endlessly 103 02 TAYLOR SWIFT I Knew You Were Trouble 1 04 03 SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA Don't You Worry Child 3 01 04 LUPE FIASCO/GUY SEBASTIAN Battle Scars 1 07 05 IMAGINE DRAGONS Radioactive 5 12 06 CHRIS BROWN Don't Judge Me 6 05 07 CHRISTINA AGUILERA/BLAKE SHELTON Just a Fool 1 13 08 ONE DIRECTION Little Things 6 06 09 WIZ KHALIFA Remember You 6 25 10 ED SHEERAN Lego House 10 09 11 JUSTIN BIEBER Beauty and a Beat 1 08 12 LUDACRIS Rest of My Life 8 21 13 DAVID GUETTA She Wolf (Falling to Pieces) 13 15 14 MATCHBOX TWENTY Overjoyed 14 16 15 P!NK Try 15 18 16 KE$HA C'mon 16 26 17 KENDRICK LAMAR Swimming Pools (Drank) 17 24 18 PITBULL Don't Stop the Party 18 10 19 PHILLIP PHILLIPS Home 6 28 20 CALVIN HARRIS Sweet Nothing 20 11 21 BRUNO MARS Locked Out of Heaven 7 14 22 ED SHEERAN The A Team 10 17 23 WILL.I.AM/BRITNEY SPEARS Scream & Shout 8 22 24 KELLY CLARKSON Catch My Breath 17 20 25 THE LUMINEERS Ho Hey 20 29 26 OF MONSTERS AND MEN Little Talks 26 27 27 IMAGINE DRAGONS It's Time 7 23 28 FLO RIDA I Cry 13 30 29 SKYE STEVENS Rewind 12 51 30 PITBULL Feel This Moment 3032 31 MACKLEMORE/RYAN LEWIS Thrift Shop 31 36 32 OLLY MURS Troublemaker 32 35 33 JONN HART Who Booty 33 19 34 KE$HA Die Young 1 38 35 MAROON 5 Daylight 35 33 36 JASON ALDEAN The Only Way I Know 31 37 37 THE BAND PERRY Better Dig Two 33 41 38 THE WEEKND Wicked Games 38 39 39 ALICIA KEYS Girl on Fire 39 42 40 T.I. Great video!
Love that you're charting "Turn Around." Also excellent to see Lego House and Little Things in the top ten. Plus Troublemaker, Hall Of Fame, Girl On Fire, etc.

Year-End Chart is finished, so I can focus on this now :) January 13, 2013I had an Imagine Dragons craving this week. "Radioactive" jumps 5-1 while "It's Time" rocket rebounds from #27 to a new peak of 3. Meanwhile in the Top 10, Chris Brown's "Don't Judge Me" reaches a new peak of #5, and Ed Sheeran's "Lego House" reaches a new peak of #7. David Guetta scores his third Top 10 with "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" rising 13-9, while Kendrick Lamar scores his first Top 10 with "Swimming Pools (Drank)" rising 17-10. No debuts this week, but three songs re-enter :O Coincidentally, two of the three songs have so far peaked at #35, while the other has so far peaked at #34. The Secret State's "The Biggest Mistake" re-enters at #46 (the #34 peaker), Chris Richardson's "Joy & Pain" re-enters at #48 and Chris Wallace's "Remember When (Push Rewind)" re-enters at #50. The biggest gains this week (5+) go to "It's Time", "Turn Around" (43-28), "Ball" (40-31), "Feel This Moment" (30-22), "Wicked Games" (38-30), "Lessons in Love" (47-39), "Swimming Pools (Drank)", "Troublemaker" (32-25), "Thrift Shop" (31-26) and "Girl on Fire" (39-34). Lil Wayne's "No Worries" (last week #41), Taylor Swift's "Begin Again" (#48) and Big Sean's "Guap" (#50) are all purged this week. 05 01 IMAGINE DRAGONS Radioactive 101 02 THE CAB Endlessly 1 27 03 IMAGINE DRAGONS It's Time 3 02 04 TAYLOR SWIFT I Knew You Were Trouble 1 06 05 CHRIS BROWN Don't Judge Me 5 03 06 SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA Don't You Worry Child 3 10 07 ED SHEERAN Lego House 7 04 08 LUPE FIASCO/GUY SEBASTIAN Battle Scars 1 13 09 DAVID GUETTAShe Wolf (Falling to Pieces) 9 17 10 KENDRICK LAMAR Swimming Pools (Drank) 10 09 11 WIZ KHALIFA Remember You 6 08 12 ONE DIRECTION Little Things 6 07 13 CHRISTINA AGUILERA Just a Fool 1 16 14 KE$HA C'mon 14 11 15 JUSTIN BIEBER Beauty and a Beat 1 12 16 LUDACRIS Rest of My Life 8 18 17 PITBULL Don't Stop the Party 17 14 18 MATCHBOX TWENTY Overjoyed 14 20 19 CALVIN HARRIS Sweet Nothing 19 23 20 WILL.I.AM Scream & Shout 8 15 21 P!NK Try 15 30 22 PITBULL Feel This Moment 22 24 23 KELLY CLARKSON Catch My Breath 17 26 24 OF MONSTERS AND MEN Little Talks 24 32 25 OLLY MURS Troublemaker 25 31 26 MACKLEMORE/RYAN LEWIS Thrift Shop 26 29 27 SKYE STEVENS Rewind 12 43 28 CONOR MAYNARD Turn Around 28 33 29 JONN HART Who Booty 29 38 30 THE WEEKND Wicked Games 30 40 31 T.I. ^Alt crossovers always seem to move slow for me I really like it though, so I can see it pulling an "It's Time", which actually debuted back in August :O Especially if it ends up being huge on Pop this year Thanks for the comments guys! Nice to see a new face in here

January 20, 2013Kendrick Lamar scores the third biggest jump to #1 ever with the 10-1 rise of "Swimming Pools (Drank)". So far, 17/50, Nick :) Great to see that "Sweet Nothing" is climbing and "I Knew You Were Trouble." rebounds this week. BTW, I like your video PS. I don't know if you have seen, but you didn't change the date on your chart. It appears as if it's from last week.

Great chart and excellent #1! Good to see "When I Was Your Man" debut as well.

Thanks for all the comments guys! 7 commenters?! One of my best ever! Thanks so much!! Anyway, I'm currently creating a certification/point system similar to josh, Slizzard, Au$tin, and Rocky. That should be put in place soon. Oh yeah, and I created a last.fm! Link in my signature :) - January 27, 2013Kendrick Lamar's "Swimming Pools (Drank)" is the first song to spend two consecutive weeks at #1 since Ke$ha's "Die Young" back in early December. It might not last a third week though, as Ed Sheeran's "Lego House" rises 5-2, David Guetta's "She Wolf (Falling to Pieces)" rises 7-3, and Ke$ha's "C'mon" rises 8-4. What will be #1 next week? We'll just have to wait and see. Meanwhile, in this week's Top 10, P!nk scores her second Top 10 hit as "Try" rises 13-7. "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" peaked at #3. The Secret State score their first Top 10 with debut single "The Biggest Mistake" rising 32-9, making it The Biggest Gainer. They can't have made that big of a mistake, huh? ;) Pitbull scores his fifth Top 10 hit with "Don't Stop the Party" rising 16-10. He previously reached the top tier with "Rain Over Me" (#8), "International Love" (#6), "Back in Time" (#7), and "Get It Started" (#9), giving him one peak at every spot in the lower half of the Top 10 (#uselessbillboardishstats). Pit may be adding a sixth Top 10 next week with "Feel This Moment", which rises 19-13 this week. Five songs debut this week, led by two electronic acts. Rising dance group Krewella debuts at #44 with their debut single "Alive", while hit reality star DJ Pauly D debuts at #45 with "Back to Love", which contains vocals by Jay Sean. Lil Wayne's newest single, "Love Me" with Drake and Future, debuts at #48, followed by another Drake-feauture on hot new rapper A$AP Rocky's smash "F**kin' Problems", which also features 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar, at #49. Despite initially being against it, I found it hard to escape this week, hence the #50 debut of Justin Timberlake's return single, "Suit & Tie", with guest rapping by Jay-Z. Will it remain on the chart next week? I think it might be a safe bet. The biggest gains this week (5+) go to "The Biggest Mistake" (second week in a row as Greatest Gainer), Trey Songz's "Simply Amazing" (40-22), Austin Mahone's "Say You're Just a Friend" (42-27), Jonn Hart's "Who Booty" (27-16), Chris Wallace's "Remember When (Push Rewind)" (41-30), Carrie Underwood's "Two Black Cadillacs", Chris Richardson's "Joy & Pain" (38-29), Tim McGraw's "One of Those Nights" (47-40), "Try", "Don't Stop the Party", "Feel This Moment", Kelly Clarkson's "Catch My Breath" (20-14), Of Monsters and Men's "Little Talks" (21-15), Calvin Harris's "Sweet Nothing" (17-12), and Britt Nicole's "Gold" (46-41). Going recurrent this week are Lifehouse's "Between the Raindrops" (last week #48) and Ed Sheeran's "The A Team" (#49). Alicia Keys's "Girl on Fire" (#39), The Band Perry's "Better Dig Two" (#44), and Randy Houser's "How Country Feels" (#50) are purged. 01 01 KENDRICK LAMAR Swimming Pools (Drank) 105 02 ED SHEERAN Lego House 2 07 03 DAVID GUETTA She Wolf (Falling to Pieces) 3 08 04 KE$HA C'mon 4 02 05 TAYLOR SWIFT I Knew You Were Trouble 1 04 06 IMAGINE DRAGONS Radioactive 1 13 07 P!NK Try 7 03 08 THE CAB Endlessly 1 32 09 THE SECRET STATE The Biggest Mistake 9 16 10 PITBULL Don't Stop the Party 10 06 11 SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA Don't You Worry Child 3 17 12 CALVIN HARRIS Sweet Nothing 12 19 13 PITBULL Feel This Moment 13 20 14 KELLY CLARKSON Catch My Breath 14 21 15 OF MONSTERS AND MEN Little Talks 15 27 16 JONN HART Who Booty 16 09 17 CHRIS BROWN Don't Judge Me 5 12 18 WIZ KHALIFA Remember You 6 11 19 LUPE FIASCO/GUY SEBASTIAN Battle Scars 1 15 20 WILL.I.AM/BRITNEY SPEARS Scream & Shout 8 14 21 JUSTIN BIEBER Beauty and a Beat 1 40 22 TREY SONGZ Simply Amazing 22 24 23 MACKLEMORE/RYAN LEWIS Thrift Shop 23 25 24 OLLY MURS Troublemaker 24 28 25 MAROON 5 Daylight 25 10 26 IMAGINE DRAGONS It's Time 3 42 27 AUSTIN MAHONE Say You're Just a Friend 27 31 28 CONOR MAYNARD Turn Around 28 38 29 CHRIS RICHARDSON Joy & Pain 29 41 30 CHRIS WALLACE Remember When (Push Rewind) 30 23 31 LUDACRIS Rest of My Life 8 43 32 CARRIE UNDERWOOD Two Black Cadillacs 32 35 33 NEON TREES Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night) 33 30 34 T.I. Anyway, I'm currently creating a certification/point system similar to josh, Slizzard, and Rocky. That should be put in place soon. #stillsuchatrendsetter :'( Your flashback is the highlight of the post, but it's great to see "Try" entering your top 10 (#slow) and "Little Talks" climbing further. And some more stuff I can't be bothered typing. And your video is still good!
