Now that this brand-new R.E.M single has hastily rocketed to #1 on AAA, it is time to promote the single to Hot AC as soon as possible.
This single is quite catchy and the video has been gaining much buzz from CNN to VH1 in preparation for the release of "In Time".
If radio treats them right, I can see "Bad Day" making a brief appearance in the Top 10 on Hot AC, likely peaking at #9. But it has also been a while since they were at the top of the world with hits like "Losing My Religion", "Man on the Moon" and "What's The Frequency, Kenneth?"
Where will R.E.M peak on Hot AC?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I'm a bit suprised "Bad Day" is not taking off on Hot AC.
I was figuring by now it would surge up the chart in a similar way like Guster's "Amsterdam" after dominating the Triple A chart for over a month and peaking at #18.
Has "Bad Day" truly had an official Hot AC Adds date?
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I really like this song. I'm not a huge R.E.M. fan. Actually, the only stuff I like from them for the most part is the 'Monster' singles and even that's a stretch but I really like 'What's The Frequency, Kenneth?'. This is probably my second favourite REM song.

Well, it's a great song, but now R.E.M. is not for Hot AC. I think they wont make the top 20, it's not as poppy as its earlier material (Warner material)... but everything con happen... I hope I'm wrong as it happened to me with "Heaven"

Hmmm... This one's a reject from one of their albums, and yet it's one of my all-time fav R.E.M. songs.
