There is a video now available for the title track to Gavin DeGraw's debut album.
Is this going to be the third single?

I hope so. It's better than "I Don't Want To Be".

If I'm not mistaken, the sticker on the front of the CD said "featuring the singles Follow Through and Chariot" so I'd expect it to be the next single. I'm hoping it is, it's one of my favourites from the CD. 'I Don't Want To Be' is one of my least favourites.

I think this was probably supposed to be the second single, but they went with "I Don't Want To Be" after it was picked as the theme song to One Tree Hill.

Despite it failing to reclaim the fire of "I Don't Want To Be" at CHR/Pop radio, this looks like it could be headed Top 5 at Hot AC. It's currently #8 with a triple digit bullet and in striking distance of atleast the #6 position within a week.

HAC is so stale and mainly because they just wait for songs to get played out at Pop, then just start playing them themselves for months more to come. HAC needs to stay fresh by saying "screw Pop" and finding their own hits to play. I'm glad Gavin is doing well at HAC, as he should since this song is perfect for the format, regardless of what Pop does.

It just got sucked to #5 without a bullet because the songs above it were falling even faster.

Interesting that on HAC this is a bigger hit than "IDWTB" was. To be honest, it seems like I hear "Chariot" just as much as I heard "IDWTB"- and that has nothing to do with me being a HAC fan since the NYC HAC station is awful and I never listen to it. The video for "Chariot" is on non-stop though.

Interesting that on HAC this is a bigger hit than "IDWTB" was. I wouldn't say "bigger hit." I would say "peaked higher." IDWTB has tremendous recurrent airplay (it hasn't left the top 20 on the sans recurrent chart since it entered it last year). I doubt that Chariot will have the same longevity as its predecessor and hence, I believe IDWTB will be the "bigger hit."

Here in Australia, Follow Through was the second single, which didnt chart (IDWTB went to number 16 on the ARIA charts). However, Chariot has been released as the third single here and is getting minor play on MTV Australia and MusicMax. I can see it being added on a few stations around the place though.
Hope it does good in the US. IDWTB was boring I thought, but Follow Through I liked and the guy showed pretentinal :).. or however ya spell it :)
