Is this going for adds soon? Seems to me 'Go Your Own Way' could still be a big slow-burner hit.
I wish pop would give them some airtime. If this was Hilary Duff it'd be a smash.

Is their latest LP a collection of cover versions of ´70s hits? First, it was "Go Your Own Way" and now they release (or are gearing up to release) this mid-charter from 1974 (I believe it got as high as #32 on BB). Both are pretty good songs. But I agree - it does seem a little too soon to be releasing this. They should at least wait until GYOW reaches its 20th week on.

I just got their album today... haven't listened to it all yet. I am stuck on "Go Your Own Way" which is the most gorgeous song I've heard for a long time... Chynna sounds so good on it!
"Already Gone" sounds country-ish. It'll have to grow on me... I fell in love with "Go Your Own Way" instantly.
How are their songs/album doing on the charts?

Actually the concept is covers of songs typical of the laid-back "California sound", though I think they're all from the 60s and 70s. The track listing: 1. You're No Good 2. Old Man 3. California 4. Already Gone 5. Go Your Own Way 6. Turn! Turn! Turn! (To Everything There Is A Season) 7. Monday Monday 8. Get Together 9. Doctor My Eyes 10. Dance Dance Dance 11. In My Room 12. Already Gone Interesting concept though I haven't heard the album yet. And yes, tracks 7 and 11 are covers of their parents' bands: the Mamas and the Papas and the Beach Boys. And nice nickname by the way.

I've really got my fingers crossed for this. If this is a hit at Hot AC, ad 'Go Your Own Way' continues to grow at AC, maybe the album will pick up.
Who's on lead vocals on this? Chynna or Carnie?

Is 'Old Man' the song that goes "old man, take a look at my life, I'm a lot like you" or something?

They do a pretty good job covering The Eagles on this one but I still much orefer GYOW. They should release "You're No Good" just for the hell of it
