This is worse than this week's AT40 CHR chart which has one song up 4 spots and one down 4 spots! At least the Hot AC chart has two debuts, but again as I posted on the CHR forum, why now all of the sudden do we have slow charts. Is the AT40 chart that far behind that we are now only taking into accout the first week of January? I'm not sure what is going on here.

I find it odd that as much buzz as Florence + the Machine has now, the airplay for it seems to be pretty sucky. Although I guess it is Top 10 in Alternative and Triple-A so maybe that's where all the buzz is coming from?

The buzz is from her performance on some Awards show (I forget), Grammy nomination, and how the critics describe her music.

On the Rick Dees chart, "If It's Love" has been on longest, with 38 weeks. NINE songs on this chart surpass that.

I can't recall a chart where the biggest mover was two positions!

Neither can I. Back in the 80's it was routine for at least a couple of double digit movers in either direction. There were even a few weeks were one or two songs plunged over 25 spots!

However, I don't think the total movement of this week's chart was more than 25 spots for the 40 songs combined! Wow have times changed!

At least this week's Rick Dees Hot AC chart had five songs move up 6 or more spots and one song dropping 15 spots! Granted this was one of his more active weeks, but still on average it moves much faster that the AT40 Hot AC chart.
