Finally it's out... Her labels been taking down every stream link on Youtube amd random sites since it leaked. I agree with Kunt, if this isn't at least a top 10/15 hit, her career is over. What is her label thinking? It's free promo! They should've released it today to get it moving up the iTunes and the BAM! ITunes banner on Tuesday to give it more exposure moving it up even higher... They are screwing up.

They are screwing up. Her team knows what they are doing right now. Let it marinate on the weekend, release to both iTunes and other digital outlets on Monday, on-demand streaming sights on Monday and sneak peak of the video on Monday as well. Sounds like a great plan because it will guarantee a high debut if all goes well. Certain songs now would've had greater debuts if streaming were involved earlier.

But with a CC deal she's going to have quite a bit of airplay. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. 5 days of airplay, given the deal, is probably going to debut her regardless.

I'm surprised (well, not really) the final version did not clean up her harsh vocals. This is catchy enough to be a hit, but not a megahit. I project a 130k album opening.

Yeah, this will be have a chart run similar to Taylor's recent single, although probably not as successful.

A Top 10 hit will get the promo rolling that she needs considering NMT only going Top 30. The media is going to love it. A #1 or Top 3 will have heads spinning. I need that lol.

Heard this on the radio tonight on the way home from the Kelly Clarkson concert!!
I gotta be honest, at first, I had NO idea this was Christina, and I'm a huge fan and would recognize her voice anywhere.
But I will say that I wasn't really paying attention to the radio or song until I thought to myself, hey, I've never heard this, I kinda like it, and turned it up and then it hit me!
BAM! This is Christina!
So, I guess I liked it! Looking forward to seeing if she can get back into Pop radio's playlists. Stripped was one of the most amazing albums and eras ever. I'd like for her to get back to doing it right.

...you were saying? -- 43 CHRISTINA AGUILERA Your Body 742 0 742 9.700 +742 Spins +742 Bullet +9.700 Audience Factoring in the rest of the formats it got play on, I'd wager this safely got DOUBLE Mariah's total airplay from its first day alone. ;)

Wow. Xtina has a radio deal right? Yes. So we'll see how the song does after the 8th day. I remember "Not Myself Tonight" exploded quite quickly but then eventually stalled around #14 I think. This song could end up that way too, but hopefully not!

I'm not a big Xtina fan but I love the song.
Much better than NMT so hopefully it does well and actually has longevity.

think she`ll top Mariah`s total AI in one day? This answer your question? CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Your Body: 10.948 (+10.948)MARIAH CAREY - Triumphant (Get 'Em) f/R. Ross: 4.983 (−0.314) IDK what Mariah's peak audience was, but I think Christina is still in the vicinity of double Mariah's peak.

Mariah didn't have a radio deal (aka bought spins) and her song sure wasn't marketed towards Pop radio.

The question wasn't HOW it gained the audience, or what formats it was coming from, it was just would Christina get more. The answer is 'yes'. Simple as that.

Well, radio deals aren't payola, as we should all understand. But, it obviously gives tracks that have them an advantage- at least initially. After the promo ends, then the reality sets in (whether factors such s listener reception and/or other factors that would affect play- i.e. age).
I don't think we'll be seeing a longevity success comparable to MLJ or even Maroon 5's latest single.

Well, radio deals aren't payola. They are. They are just called 'deals' to make it seem more legal, but they're just an evolution of the old payola system.

These CC radio deals are essentially legal payola. It's pay for play.

I don't knew for certain but I don't recall 'Triumphant' breaking 6 mill. in total airplay at its peak, which still puts Christina's first-day airplay at just about double Mariah's peak.

I agree that they are legal payola basically and that is partially why I don't like them. I just don't get the kick out of seeing songs gain a lot very quickly if I know it is artificial. I also feel like they have backfired as many times as worked out. Oh well-I hope for Christina it doesn't backfire and it eventually makes its way into the top 10.

Well, however one looks at it, it is a legal airplay practice/promotion. But, it only really happens with acts for who there will be a notable amount of interest (at least out of the gate). I don't think we'd see these kinds of airplay promotions with an act who hasn't a scored a viable radio hit in eons.

You can buy anything if you have the amount, but you can't buy love, I mean if song is a crap like Madonna's then you will fall like rocket.

Eons would mean, like, 15-20 years or so ago. Madonna had a pretty decent U.S. radio hit in 2008 (albeit with Justin Timberlake on board) and a mediocre one in 2005 (but that single fared pretty well, sales-wise). A radio promotion didn't hurt Taylor Swift's new single because she's, like, one of the hottest acts out right now (and she's very young at that). And, apparently, the track is clicking with listeners.

I can't believe the Mariah stans are already up in this joint, finding ways to discredit this song's performance after one day when Mariah is the motherfucking QUEEN of manipulating the charts to obtain #1 hits. I can't.
