We're not discussing it because you're late. Check back a few pages and go to the Polling Booth. It's slayed our live.

i do think that she is off-putting to some, with her personality/style. Have you ever heard of this concept in psychiatry called projection? It's when you project how you see yourself subconsciously onto others... it's a defense mechanism by which your own traits are attributed to someone else.

I am actually surprised "Heart" hasn't sold more. I guess I heard people tell me it sold "tons upon tons" before really catching on radio so I assumed it was already past a million by the time it started to get play or something.

I have heard, Luckie. I'd imagine there are people like that, but also people who like others who share qualities similar to themselves. I like myself and my qualities, so that would not pertain to myself. :)
YB at 33 on iTunes.

i do think that she is off-putting to some, with her personality/style. That shouldn't impact whether one likes the music or not, but... but...?

^Sure. I may not be a fan of an act's personality, how he carries himself, whatever- but, if I like a track, I like a track.
The "but," I guess, is that some may let that impact whether or not they can get into music from that act.

The only reason for lack of chart success is Christina herself.
She is way to self absorbed.
Turned alot of people off... I think thats why she cant break through. Sometimes negative energy effects people.

Is that a good update or should we be worried?

Is that a good update or should we be worried? I wouldn't be worried just yet. As long as it has consistent updates it should be fine. Not to mention Christina hasn't done any promotion for the song yet has she?

It should still be regulating after the first couple of weeks, I'm guessing. It'd take a bit for things to level out.

It doesn't, I don't know why people keep saying this. If that was the case songs like "I'm a Slave 4 U" and "Judas" would've been multi week #1 hits, and we know that didn't happen.

Well promo can get a song more exposure which can lead to more sales which can lead to more airplay. Promo works in some cases but not all the time.

I would call a radio tour promotion and I think that's something she should consider. Radio tours can significantly increase your airplay. Look at what Cher Lloyd did and what others have done in the past. She went to many radio stations to promote her single and it turned into a hit. Of course Christina won't have to do as much work as Cher did, but would be nice if she could visit some stations, especially the larger ones (KIIS & Z100 ect).

I thought about that, but this'd need a heck of a lot of promo if it wants to increase its itunes position to something that would make radio stations consider playing it more.

I agree about radio promo. She should be doing what Pink did but didn't really need to do.
But she is obviously in a tough spot because she has The Voice commitments and a young child that is probably in school.
I hope bad timing doesn't plague this era too.

I agree about radio promo, it helped Bieber and 1D. I thought you meant television promo.

Videos really only help significantly for Katy Perry, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. I don't know why everyone keeps thinking videos are like a Grammy performance or somethingIn the UK they are It seems like "Your Body" is going to be a good sized hit here. It's already #196 in overall airplay, with a month to go until its release. It hasn't gotten any significant TV play yet, but it'll likely pick up during the next few weeks. 196????? Doing nothing in Australia yet unfortunately pity cos we have really supported her first 3 eras. Even nmt was top 25 I think with bionic hitting number 1 from memory
