#37. Everybody (Madonna) Madonna's debut single! :O This apparently is the song that, because of its apparently R&B style beats, led to people thinking Madonna was black.  I don't hear any R&B at all, but considering how old the song is, I'm sure R&B was different back then. My favorite part is definitely the production, considering she says "Everybody, come on, dance and sing Everybody, get up and do your thing" so many times over and over. Tomorrow is another song from the same album.

I like this! & yeah, people thought she was black b/c of her voice & style not only in this song, but during that era. This also helped her chart on the R&B charts during the 80s & 90s :)
Curious to see if my favorite Madonna song will be in your Top 40 :)

Black Madonna? Anyway love the song! I always felt "Why's It So Hard" and most of her Bedtime Stories album were in that vein. |

I didn't know you were a Madonna fan, Josh! Yes! I love Madonna! My parents used to play The Immaculate Collection all the time. I didn't know much else of her stuff besides that and some 2000s singles until I got most of her stuff a couple years ago and my love for her has grown even more since. |

#36. Burning Up (Madonna) The 2nd single from this album. A little better than "Everybody," but not much. I can easily see why neither of these made the Hot 100, but I still can enjoy them to some extent. Tomorrow will be a single from a 90s album.

#35. Deeper and Deeper (Erotica) The first of only two singles from this album to make my list. Erotica is one of my least favorite albums from Madonna, tb h. The album just doesn't click with me. Howver, I actually quite like this song, and the other single to make the list is really good as well. :) The next song is one from a movie soundtrack.

This is ok. Clearly not her best single, but it's still in enjoyable. I guess that's b/c it's practically a remix to 'Vogue'. Lol. I think if I were older during this era, this would probably be my favorite era from her.
I'm gonna go out on a limb & guess tomorrow's song. I'm thinking the song maybe 'Don't Cry For Me Argentina', 'Beautiful Stranger' or 'Who's That Girl'.
