It would be foolish to think that "Call On Me" has already peaked! And it's foolish to think that the song won't reach the top-10 when the song isn't in full rotation yet!

We didnt say it had already peaked. Sales will have to be calculated in. But when they are, Top 10 is unlikely. The song is already in full rotation., but it just not getting that much play.

I have a list of a few major stations who have yet to add "Call On Me" to rotation and once those hit along with her sales and the airplay from the video spiking radio interest, "Call On Me" will pick up and hit top-10. |

"Deja Vu" may be something like #11-#15 this week and #1 next week
"London Bridge" may debut around the #65; "Invisible" around #20
"A Public Affair" around #25

I'm sorry but Deja Vu has over 100 million in audience. 100 million in audience is not a flop by any means. People say it flopped because it performed well under what her other singles have performed, as well as missed top 5 (and at one, top 10) on two of her home formats that have always supported her in the past. I would not say flop, but I would say its underperforming. And wow, I didnt know Nelly had that much audience. |

I can't say I didn't expect more from Deja Vu because it seems like the type of song pop radio would eat up. Combine that with the fact that Beyonce is an "it" girl..... Janet will be Top 30 this week and Top 20 next week. I am really curious to see what impact the video will have and if BET exposure sells records.

Yeah I think Beyonce has to make it to #1 on iTunes and the other digital stores in order to be #1 on the Hot 100, despite her airplay advantage. By this time next week, who knows how much her airplay might fall. It could end up in the 80-89 million AI range by then.

Well she doesn't have an airplay advantage over the Nelly Furtado and Gnarles Barkley. She'll probably go Top 5 with her single but not #1. Either way that's still GREAT!

I think with Beyonce radio backed off a bit because of all the negative publicity with the single (the petition, etc.). BUT I have a feeling that the airplay is going to go up this week because of what's happening on itunes. I also feel that she will break Shakira's record (she is still the record holder, right?). I just want to state that now because no one ever believes me when I say, "I knew that was going to happen."  |

"Call on Me" likely isn't going to make any major strides in airplay at this point. It's just DULL. Hoping for a much better second single!

Call On Me is sitting at #23 on the building charts so....that's up three spaces from last week if it holds.... BET just started playing a new COM commercial. Its in heavy rotation according to reports.  I am really curious to see what BET's sales impact is next week...... |
