More some weeks and "Bad Day" goes to 2 million donwloads \o/ Maybe "You're Beautiful" can end the year near 2 million too.
and we have a new 1 million seller : "Promiscuos"
I guess "Promiscuos" and "Hips Don't Lie" will end the year with around 1.5 million.

We'll see. BET exposure will only mean so much...... That's what I am really curious to know because it will give me some powerful information. We will finally get to see if BET exposure sells records (downloads in this case). The video will not be a BET exclusive for an entire week so there is really no way for you to quantify the exposure it will get on BET. During the course of the week i'm sure it will be on BET, MTV, Fuse, Launch Music, Youtube, etc. Two, given that the song is going to other retailers, you will not be able to see how much of an increase is from those retailers vs. just TV exposures. |

Janet's video looks like it will sucks monkey balls so I dont see the song getting much higher than it already is. It may crack the top 50 but I'll be very suprised if it goes in the 30s. The song is a disaster. It really is. I cant believe her label made her release it. She deserves to flop hard with this song.
On brighter news, I hope Gnarls, Nelly and Ashlee do well. I cant believe I like "Invisible" i'm almost embarassed to say I like it.
All American Rejects and AFI still ROCKIN'.

What is WRONG with Janet and/or her record company...I'm assuming they are doing this on prupose because they want it to seem like she has a big comeback single when she releases a good serious song. This has to be a joke.
I mean I can undertsand the screw-up that was made with Pink and Natasha Bedingfield...seriously though.

I've also noticed that these Evanescence songs have been played a lot on my radio lately. (Don't know what stations -- I flip stations a lot.)
Guess they're getting us pumped for the new single/album.

ashlee is lucky she did so well on itunes, she officially has had 2 top 30 hits from her album. Imagine if it had the radio support L.O.V.E had? probably top 20...
yay for jessica rising, she's top 30, now if she could only move up like at least 15 more spaces that would be great. why is she not doing so well with digital sales/downloads? "these boots are made for walkin" was #1 in digital sales and everybody hated that song. now alot of people like her new song and it's not doing as well. it's confusing.

Yes, J.Shooter, what are all those songs you're talking about that have done that? And like Adonis said, Only U didnt go Top 20. It doesnt really happen. With Call On Me's airplay and downloads, it will be lucky to go Top 20, but Top 10 is pushing the envelope. I'd check my facts if I were you. Only U was #13 for two weeks. It hit Top 10 at Urban and Rhythmic formats. |
