I dont think Yonka is gonna reach #1 on the Hot 100 I see it performing similar to LLCoolJ/jho song. Rhianna,Shakira, etc were all being held from Itunes but there airplay was building and going up its not the case w/Yonka

LL's track didn't have the level of airplay that Beyonce's does. Beyonce's play may be decreasing, but it's still at a decent level. I'm surprised it didn't crack the pop top 10, though (unless I missed it).

Janet's total is disappointing. I was hoping she could do at least 35k. And COM will probably drop next week, depending on the instant impact of the debut of her video.

People always overestimate how much digital singles will sell on a first week.
I did it with Xtina and now peopel are doing it with Janet, Jessica, Ashlee, Beyonce

COM wasn't released to all the digital outlets yet. So take 22k and devide that by 60-70% and you should come out with a total comparable to 35k. The video should change things. Jessica was having the same problem last week then when the video came out she quickly rose into the top 10.

The first week sales for any artist are at a disadvantage to any song out for more than a week as it will not have a full week of sales. That is why the 2nd week is almost always greater (considerably for most) -- look at John Mayer this week. |

Yeah, people do overestimate first week downloads. You have to remember songs get no downloads on Monday, and then they usually spend Tuesday and even Wednesday/Thursday climbing to a peak spot. When did "Invisible" even pass "Promiscuous?" You also have to remember there are other services besides iTunes.

wow sales seem so low especially the top 5. Even the #1 song should be doing 100k is it cause its summer or what? They seem lower than 1 month ago anyways

"Bring Me to Life" isn't being actively promoted by the label or anything (nor has a new physical single been released or anything), so it most likely won't return to the Hot 100.

The first week is always Itunes exclusive week for alot of artists. So we have to remember that when making our predictions. The best way (IMO) is to gestimate what the songs around it are selling over all then divide that number by .6-.7 then you will have a more reasonable sales estimate for Itunes.
People want too much too fast. We all did overestimation with XTina, Jessica, and now Janet.
