Taylor Swift continues her crazy run at number one and extends her record to a massive seven weeks on top! It is undoubtedly aided by the release of Taylor's fourth studio album, Red, which also helped catapult "I Knew You Were Trouble." from number 24 to number six! "Red," the album's title track, also debuts at number 25! Taylor Swift domination, no doubt. More Red tracks are expected to debut next week. There is also a domination of "new songs." The top ten is filled with six songs that have spent less than five weeks on the chart! "Die Young" leads the pack at another week at number two. "Diamonds" jumps from number 12 to number five. "I Knew You Were Trouble." is a part of both domination at number six. "Your Body" moves up from number ten to number seven. "Skyfall" skyrockets to number eight from 17. The biggest non-Taylor Swift domination influenced movement comes from Kelly Clarkson's "Catch My Breath," which moves up from 22 to number nine. We also have two other debuts besides "Red," and that is the new hit from Bruno Mars, "Locked Out of Heaven," barely beating out what would have been another debut, Ciara's "Sorry" at number 30. P!nk makes a surprising debut with "Run," a bonus track from her latest album, The Truth About Love, released last month. "Run" has slowly been gaining for the past few weeks and barely missed the top 30 last week. It finally sees its long awaited debut. The biggest downward movement this week comes from "Lolita," which plummets from number four to number 20 for no reason in particular. Imagine Dragons and Bridgit Mendler also both score their first top five hits this week with "Radioactive" and "Ready or Not" coming in at numbers four and three respectively. Also, this marks the 5th consecutive week at #1 for Taylor, meaning she now shares the record with Katy Perry for longest consecutive stay at #1! Only Queen Taylor. In other news, Christina Aguilera scores her first top five hit, but in the process, kicks Rihanna down to #7. Taylor separates the two at #6 with "I Knew You Were Trouble.," her countdown single. P!nk's "Try" makes a resurgence back into the top ten, while "Run" was kicked out by this week's debut, "I Cry" by Flo Rida. This week's biggest increase, though, comes from No Doubt's "Looking Hot," which rockets up from #21 to #12 in its fourth week on the chart. Drop Out Runs: P!nk - Run 28This Week's Flashback Tune:

Nah, "Run" is the one that dropped out. "Try" is #10. It's the "drop out runs" section that he messed them up. I think. It's his chart anyway.

Too many three-letter P!nk songs...

Due to my trip to Denver, this week's chart will posted tonight. Not all of the data from my listening habits in Denver have been added to the chart data yet, which is causing the delay. I did a mock-up, though, and it's going to be incredibly close between Ke$ha and Taylor Swift for the #1. Will Taylor get her ninth week on top? Will Ke$ha finally get her long-awaited #1? Stay refreshing!

My trip to Denver completely flew my chart for a loop. Newer songs tended to fall as my listening habits switched more to older hits, which helped propel "As Long As You Love Me" from #23 all the way into the top ten for a new peak of #6!!! Its peak before was only #18! :o "As Long As You Love Me" basically became the go-to anthem for the trip. Other weird movements are No Doubt's "Looking Hot," which slipped from #12 to #21 and Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" moving up yet again from #30 to #23. Train's "50 Ways to Say Goodbye," P!nk's "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)," fun.'s "Some Nights," and Maroon 5's "One More Night" also received boosts from the Denver trip. "One More Night," in fact, re-enters and knocks last week's debut, Flo Rida's "I Cry," off the chart all together. No worries, though. Now that I'm back home, my listening habits will return to normal and "I Cry" is sure to come back with a vengence as well as the possible debuts of "Don't Rush" and "Va Va Voom." Drop Out Runs: Flo Rida - I Cry 29This Week's Flashback Tune:

Nate Ruess) 16 07 Adds*: Ke$ha - C'Mon *Songs that I've added to my iPod. Well, Taylor has finally fallen out of the top spot. The new number one is Ke$ha's lead single, "Die Young," from her second album, Warrior, due out December 4th! "Die Young" becomes the 13th number one song for the chart. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" slips from number one to number four as it is passed by "Ready or Not" and "Radioactive." Also smashing its way into the top five is Bruno Mars' latest single "Locked Out of Heaven," which leaps from number 13 to number five in its fourth week. Thanks to the video release, "Diamonds" also resurges to number six. No Doubt takes a huge leap back up from number 21 to number seven with their latest single, "Looking Hot." "Looking Hot" is now the band's highest charting single on the chart and their third top ten in a row. Nicki Minaj has the week's highest debut with "Va Va Voom" vooming its way to number fifteen! As I predicted "I Cry" re-enters the chart for a new peak of number 23. The week's other debut comes from another Taylor Swift song. "Holy Ground," and album track from Red, enters the chart at number 27. This makes the fourth Taylor Swift song on the chart, as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" sits at number four, "I Knew You Were Trouble." slips from number eight to number eleven, and "Red" sits right above "Holy Ground," falling from number 25 to 26. The record holder for longest stay on the chart continues to grow as "Give Your Heart a Break" spends its 41st week on the chart at number 25. Ciara) Rihanna - UnapologeticSwedish House Mafia - Don't You Worry Child (feat. John Martin) *Songs that I've added to my iPod. Ke$ha spends a second week at number one while her points continue to increase! Meanwhile, Rihanna, thanks to the release of her seventh album, skyrockets to number two with "Diamonds." Look for Rihanna to debut with album tracks from Unapologetic next week. Also thanks to the release of her first greatest hits compilation, Kelly Clarkson's "Catch My Breath" find a new peak of number six while debuting with her first full-fledged country single, "Don't Rush," as it enters the chart at number 26. Part of Kelly's upwards movement comes from her stellar performance on the AMAs. Also benefitting from their AMA performances are P!nk (Try moves to match its peak of number five) and Carly Rae Jepsen (This Kiss re-enters the chart at number 25). Besides Flo Rida's huge jump from number 23 to number 14 with "I Cry," not much else inside the chart is exciting. Most of the exciting movements come from below the top 30! New hits from Nicki Minaj, Swedish House Mafia, Tristan Prettyman, Ke$ha, and Hunter Hayes are incredibly close to debuting. Next week is sure to be fun with at least some of them debuting as well as a few album tracks from Rihanna. Drop Out Runs: Cher Lloyd - Want U Back 14-12-6-6-8-9-7-7-5-4-4-5-3-2-5-11-11-19-17-21-27-27-29-30Taylor Swift - Holy Ground 27This Week's Flashback Tune:

"S.O.S. (Let The Music Play)" Excellent top six, and great to see "This Kiss" re-charting. :)

Ke$ha continues her reign at number one and spends a third week on top, while Rihanna is sitting pretty at a second week at number two. Kelly Clarkson jumps from number six to number three with her latest pop single while her country single inches forward from 26 to 24. P!nk finally reaches a new peak with "Try," as it moves up from number five to number four in its eleventh week. Also reaching new peaks this week are "Va Va Voom" and "I Cry." Everything else remains stagnant, falls, or debuts. The two new debuts this week are Hunter Hayes's "Wanted," coming in at 25, and Tristan Prettyman's "My Oh My," at number 27. Both are artists who have never before charted in my top 30. Sitting right outside the top 30 this week is Ke$ha's "C'Mon," which was just announced as her second single this week. Thanks to the new entries, Demi Lovato's "Give Your Heart a Break" falls off the chart again. The song, while only peaking at number seven, rocked it in the top 30 for a massive 43 weeks. It fell off in its 37th week back in October, but came back for an extra six weeks only one week later. Hats off to Ms. Lovato.
