Awful track listing. They've got all the right songs (plus a few randoms) but why that order? Very disappointed.

They included the video for Low, but not the song itself on disc one? That doesn't quite make sense to me, especially since they did include TTWLI. And yeah, Beautiful Disaster is a rather odd inclusion. Not there is anything wrong with picking one fan favorite to show some love to, but I don't think anyone predicted that. I'm not entirely surprised to see DS though. If we were a few more months removed from the end of this era I don't think they would have. I hate that track order. I am not sure why exactly, it just bugs. It's not chronological and doesn't seem to have been chosen to create a certain flow. jack - I don't think Slizzard is saying the track listing itself is 'awful,' just that the order they put it in is awful. I don't like it either - it just seems kind of haphazard - but ultimately that is a minor quibble on my part. It's not really something I'd consider a big deal.

If that's a legit track listing, it kind of sucks...it's like there's no thought put into it. This is how I would do it:
1. Catch My Breath 2. Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You) 3. Miss Independent 4. Since U Been Gone 5. Breakaway 6. Behind These Hazel Eyes 7. Walk Away 8. Because of You 9. Don't You Wanna Stay? 10. Never Again 11. I Do Not Hook Up 12. Already Gone 13. My Life Would Suck Without You 14. Mr. Know it All 15. Dark Side 16. All I Ever Wanted 17. The Trouble With Love Is 18. A Moment Like This 19. (New Song) 20. (New Song)
If they wanted to do a deluxe edition or something, an EP with 6 or 7 acoustic, reworked, live, or cover tracks would've been nice. I'd love to see studio versions of the dance/rhythmic Never Again, acoustic versions of Already Gone & AMLT, and an updated version of MI like she does at shows.

Cynthia got it: jack - I don't think Slizzard is saying the track listing itself is 'awful,' just that the order they put it in is awful. I don't like it either - it just seems kind of haphazard - but ultimately that is a minor quibble on my part. It's not really something I'd consider a big deal. If those songs were in a different order it would be a decent track listing, but ordering means as much as selection does to me.

If they have the official track listing, then why do they not have the names of the other two new songs?

This ain't official....22 songs in disk 1? That's really pushing it. P!NK's had 16 with the same label and the same amount of albums. And I'll Be Home For Christmas = Greatest Hits, LMAO

I'm pretty sure it's official. All the hits are there so it makes sense, but I would've switched out "Beautiful Disaster" for "Sober" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas" for "My Grown-Up Christmas List" or else left the four of them off completely. But this can probably give IBHFC a small push again during the holiday season.
"The Trouble With Love Is" being on there and not "Low" is also pretty perplexing.
edit: I'm hoping Beautiful Disaster is a new live recording, that would make up for it taking up space.

And the overly long track list surprises me; maybe for a deluxe version. Jennifer Lopez's GH had 13 tracks, P!NK's 16, Xtina's 16 & Britney's 18. Also to put the new tracks in the MIDDLE of the album is just bizarre and something I have never seen on any GH's album.

Also notice how:
I’ll Be Home For Christmas (iTunes Session Version) Dark Side A Moment Like This The Trouble With Love Is I Do Not Hook Up Beautiful Disaster (Live)
Are all Kelly's biggest flops (exception AMLT) placed consecutively at the end of the track-listing. I suspect these maybe part of THE DELUXE version only. That makes sense considering that would make the standard edition run 14 tracks deep and the new songs would be placed at the end of the album instead of the middle.

I'm not saying BD being there makes sense, just that all the hits ARE there, so there's nothing else you could really do with it lol. Kelly is Kelly, not any of those artist so let's just stop the comparisons now. And according to the guy this is the Deluxe international version, he also said the two new titles should be announced within the next week. I'm hoping to God it's fake though, because I need the international version to actually include songs that were released in other countries. Also notice how: I’ll Be Home For Christmas (iTunes Session Version) Dark Side A Moment Like This The Trouble With Love Is I Do Not Hook Up Beautiful Disaster (Live) Are all Kelly's biggest flops (exception AMLT) placed consecutively at the end of the track-listing. I'm just hoping "A Moment Like This" makes the actual disc and isn't cut out. It's only right that that song closes the CD.

The Aussie/Dutch/German version of P!nk's GH had 21 tracks on it, and the list for Kelly is 21 tracks as well. So now that I think about it, this list may only be official for the int'l market (or in light of the Sony Ireland tweet I just saw Chris post, specifically for Australia), while the US version will different. I do agree the placement of the new tracks is throwing me off a lot and I have no idea why they would do that. If they have the official track listing, then why do they not have the names of the other two new songs? I thought about that too. I'm willing to believe it's a legit list; maybe RCA just didn't release that info yet for whatever reason. Of course, this could also mean that however RCA sent them the list isn't necessarily an indicator of the order either. I can kind of see how someone, if asked to quickly jot down all the songs that are going to be on there, would recall them in approximately that order. I had said before that I would have liked the hit songs to be in a reverse chronological order, but that was when I figured DS wasn't going to be included so the album would start off with Stronger. Now that I see DS and some other surprises there, then this is the order in which I would place the given songs: 1. Stronger 2. Miss Independent 3. TTWLI 4. Breakaway 5. SUBG 6. BTHE 7. BOY 8. WA 9. NA 10. MLWSWY 11. IDNHU 12. AG 13. DYWS 14. MKIA 15. DS 16. CMB 17. [new song] 18. [new song] 19. AMLT (I'm just going to pretend these last two are bonus tracks or something) 20. BD 21. IBHFC

Yeah I had a feeling that had to be fake, there's no reason they'd put a Christmas song on a GH.

How about putting the tracks in order by release date?
Or, Kelly has had quite an eventful career with many ups and downs. Her hits align quite nicely with those ups and downs, so she could get really creative and order the songs to match the events of her 10 year career.
I could see "Breakaway" right around the point where she split from her original management. "Stronger" would fit nicely towards the end to mark her biggest "comeback" with her latest album. In reality, I don't care too much about the order, I just can't wait to buy this!

The more I think about it, if Dark Side was released in the fall or late fall it would have flopped even worse. I think it would get lost in the shuffle and so I am glad they are releasing a new single off a new album because it will be more eventful. So even though I love I Forgive You it would have no chance right now with the competition and the way Dark Side left off.

It is so strange to see a Christmas song included! Beautiful Disaster is odd as well, though not nearly as much. If they were going to include a non-single live track, I wish they had done Sober instead.
I don't believe it's fake. Sanity is a reliable legitimate store. I think the only question is whether the US tracklist will be any different. Not sure why they'd include those songs in Australia but not here, but who knows?

i think a reasonable goal for this album should be 700k. at first i was hoping it would go platnium like pink's but then i remembered that kelly's last three albums havnt been able to sell platnium. 700k would still be great though

I don't care about the rando song inclusions--it's not taking the place of more deserving tracks, and even if it is all on one, universal disc (which doesn't appear to be the case), it will just make it seem like people are getting more for their money. I do hope that isn't the track listing, because setting my iTunes on random would create a better flow.
And while I'm surprised "I'll Be Home For Christmas" may make some sort of version cut, I'm pleased with it. It's a Christmas song, a great one at that, and a fourth quarter release. And thank fuck it's not either of the Idol Christmas CD recordings. I don't know what state they found Kelly in or who produced it, but making her voice sound as weak and thin (I mean, comparatively) as it did there is surely worthy of jail time.

Why don't they just put her top 10 pop/hot 100 hits and make it the best GH of all time? No one cares about fan favorites aside from fans who have already bought her flops.
Stronger My Life Would Suck Without You Since U Been Gone Behind These Hazel Eyes Breakaway Because Of You Already Gone Mr. Know It All Miss Independent I Do Not Hook Up Walk Away Never Again A Moment Like This Don't You Wanna Stay (US bonus track) New song New song Catch My Breath
In that order. End of.

I think the tracklisting is rather odd. I think it should've went like this:
1) Miss Independent (I really like this song going first, since this is the image she kinda created for herself) 2) Low 3) The Trouble With Love Is 4) Breakaway 5) Since U Been Gone 6) Behind These Hazel Eyes 7) Because of You Walk Away 9) Never Again 10) Sober 11) My Life Would Suck Without You 12) I Do Not Hook Up 13) Already Gone 14) All I Ever Wanted 15) Don't You Wanna Stay (with Jason Aldean) 16) Mr. Know It All 17) Stronger 18) Dark Side 19) New Song 20) New Song 21) Catch My Breath (to me, this just seems like the perfect album closer.)
I know she is particulary distasteful on AMLT, so I left it out. But why is Breakaway not on the DVD?
One thing I do notice is her earlier songs are a lot more prominent than her newer ones. 4 songs from Thankful, 6 from Breakaway, 1 from My December, 3 from AIEW, and 3 from Stronger. It just doesn't seem very balanced. Breakaway, while her most successful album, is very overrepresented IMO. I don't know if this is typically how GH albums work, but it just doesn't seem right that we have almost 30% of a GH come from a single album.

I definitely think that tracklisting is wrong. It seems very very odd to include a Christmas song and put it in the middle of other songs. Besides, I think if they included a Christmas song it would have been My Grown Up Christmas List as it has gotten much better play on radio, hasn't it?
