We are now just 6 days away until 'Breath' is officially released to digital outlets. I knock on wood as I type this but, today represents one more day without any leaks.
ETA: Am I the only person who doesn't care what order the tracklisting is in ??

Am I the only person who doesn't care what the tracklisting order is ?? LOL, I was just about to post this very same thing. I couldn't care less about what songs are included or the order in which they're placed. It makes zero difference to me. Just give me the names of the remaining two new songs. |

I actually like Chalis' idea of having a more condensed fat-cut collection, but like freakshow and neally are saying, it aint THAT important.
That's sort of what I meant the other day when I said "I don't even know what this means". I was replying to a comment that said something like 'All my favorite tracks are there, couldn't be a better collection...but the tracks aren't in the right order so I'm SO disappointed".
Disappointment or excitement will lie in the quality of the three new songs.
The rest of the 'idea' tracklist stuff is just fun, it aint that deep.

I don't give a hoot what the setlist looks like. I don't care if it has a Christmas song or even a Halloween song. All I know is we are getting 3 new songs in a total of 21. Right now I am a very happy camper. Monday cannot come soon enough!  |

I was hoping the album would get a nomination, too. The AMA categories are so oddly lumped together that rap tends to end up in pop/rock, and Nicki was able to edge her out there. But great to see those two nominations! Hopefully it ups her chances of performing there again.
ETA: Never mind they have a rap/hip hop category so Nicki and her album need to GTFO out of that category (even if it had a lot of pop songs, blah blah bitter).

It's about time one of these damn awards shows took notice! She has had an amazing year! Hopefully this will mean we get a performance since the awards are 2 days before the Greatest Hits comes out! Can't wait til tomorrow to hear the new song!!!

The category literally should just be pop, because there are 0 rock artists there. Their categories make no sense, and snub so many people because of that.

I escaped from work with my iPad to a breakfast joint just to refuel and to read about the AMA nominations and did NOT expect for 'Breath' to debut on radio tomorrow ! This just made my day: more nominations, new single in just 19 hours without a leak, and hopefully a brief interview ! I am assuming that there will be no irritating Clear Channel deal of hourly play that seems to be the new thing for high profile artists, no ?

^Considering that all high profile releases have been getting CC deals lately, I'm afraid this one will have as well neally  However, I agree with you: I'd like a non-deal single for once, to see it rising without big gains on it first day and big losses on its 8th day. Rihanna's 'We Found Love' didn't have a CC deal, for example. I'm so excited for this tomorrow, was not expecting it at all as well! |

^^ I'm with you. It was ultra-satisfying how 'Stronger' (the single) made it to the top of radio in a hurry without a deal ! I would love for Kelly's debut single to follow a similar (or even slower) trajectory without the artificial bolstering of radio "deals". We'll see !

RCA likely gave KIIS-FM the premiere, and after 7am pacific, they'll email out the song to all other stations. Within an hour, I'll have 15 plays on my itunes.

Hmm, hopefully this will strengthen the relationship between Kelly and KIIS. Oh yeah, I didn't even think of that. Strange they'd go to KIIS over Z100, a consistent supporter of Kelly. I doubt they'll even touch the song after the premiere.  |

I don't think it has anything to do with KIIS. Kelly has been on Ryan Seacrest's show a few times, hasn't she? It seems to have a lot more to do with the connections they have (Idol, obviously) than KIIS caring about whether Kelly gets any promotion through them. It just so happens that Ryan is stationed at KIIS.
