I didn't know SS sold that much! Don't forget SS was when she had her reality show. People were seething when half of the tracks on it didn't make the album. |

It's good that she's being positive about the album, but things like that are said all the time and nothing ever ends up happening.

Stick with Alone In Your Heart. It's a anthem and will do well on her formats. I'm glad Monica is nostalgic over her right promo approach as a teen but dropping a album nobody knew was coming with a lead single from the summer is not the way to do business. I'm glad since then she has gone to a Wendy and made radio appearances. The best promo is your talent. Line up performances. Get on these award shows when they were in dire need of a vocalist of your legendary name.
I need my R&B legends to know their worth and fight to get on these now whitewashed award shows .keep your name out there when you don't have album Mo. Running your accomplishments on social media isn't enough.

Yeah, I'm not sure if there's anything they can do to save this era. So sad that it's going to come & go so quickly. I guess that the most, we'd get one more single (maybe radio-only, no video), and perhaps Monica doing a bunch of one-off shows/music festival performances, similar to "New Life"? |

After a few more listens I love "Alone In Your Heart".
I hope it does well for her.

From my understanding, RCA originally wanted to release Call My Name after JRFM back when the album was slated for September. AIYH is the record that got the strongest reaction from the listening sessions.
