Could someone tell me what she means during the bridge when she says that her saddest thought is that he never loved anyone or anything? I could understand her feeling sad that he never loved her but it just seems like such an odd phrase.  She looks great in the preview, although the pink highlights just strengthen the Avril comparisons I have no doubt fans and commentors will make. |

She looks great in the preview, although the pink highlights just strengthen the Avril comparisons I have no doubt fans and commentors will make. As you said, I think there are going to be this comparisons with Avril Lavigne because of the pink highlights. Also, Britney Spears received some of them for 'I Wanna Go'. On the other hand, the preview (the blackout part) reminds me of 'We Found Love' |

The video is absolutely stunning and perfect: Taylor looks great (love that hairdo/wig/whatever on her and her clothes) and everyone involved in it made a great job of capturing the spirit of the song and the lyrics. A+

Easily her best video, as the visuals are stunning. The story however is a little too paint-by-the-numbers for me. Very predictable and expected from the theme of the song. Also the monologue at the beginning fell flat compared to recent videos like We Found Love or Ride.

Just me or was the straight rip-off of "We Found Love"? I guess also similar to TOTGA so it's not like she just saw one video and copied it but very very influenced by the WFL video.

Anthony Mandler and Melina must be best friends because their videos are always reminiscent of each other.
On to another note: Easily her best video. She's not that sweet teen. She's 23 years old now people.

I like it. It is a little reminiscent of "We Found Love" and I find it such a fucking fun song that I'm a little miffed by such a serious video, but it's strong. B+.
